The most important thing is to sit down and actual do inquiry into epistemology.
You just sit down and reason it out from scratch using first principles, not books or anything you heard or believe.
Derive epistemology from scratch. That's the actual work. Just reason through how epistemology works.
How is anything known?
What is knowing?
All the best topics naturally follow from that line of questioning. This will lead you to contemplate self-deception, what is belief?, ideology, openmindedness, what is truth?, bias, relativity, construct-awareness, assumptions, egoic mental attachments, not-knowing, skepticism, what is science?, etc.

Of course having control over anyone is a fiction.
You don't even have control over your dog.
Existentially, no part of God can control any other part. That's why democracy is the best form of government -- because the sovereignty of everyone is respected (at least in theory).
Government is not based on any deep truth, it is based on survival necessity and pragmatism. Government works as it works because that's what helps keep certain people alive and reproducing.
"Legitimate government" just means legit relative to certain constructed principles and norms, like not violating its own laws.
Illegitmate gov breaks it own laws, like a degenerate human does. Trump contradicts himself, as all degenerate lairs do.

2) From your POV what I say doesn't really matter because you have to explore regardless to find your own answers. No matter what I say you still have to find your own truth.
I say certain things from my POV but that doesn't mean it is true for you. It also doesn't mean that my view won't evolve in the future -- it usually evolves.
Just in general, whenever humans say anything it is only true for them at that time, not forever. This is the case even if they don't realize it or say it. Everyone always speaks from their present view of reality and that view always evolves. Even an enlightened person's view evolves. So you should never take human words as absolutes.
This is pretty obvious basic stuff that you should already know without me explicating it for you.
My views evolve a lot. I would rather be evolved than consistently stuck.

Mind and Consciousness mean the same thing in my view.
Everything you experience right now is what I mean by Mind/Consciousness.
Your field of experience is it.
By imagination I mean everything in your field of experience right now. All physical objects you see.

The 5-MeO state will not stick. It is far too radical to be your default state. Your state will return to normal.
You can however develop an understanding that all of your experience is a hallucination. You can break the materialist paradigm until it is dead. This would be a nice achievement.

At your stage of development grinding might be the right thing, for a time.
However, eventually you'll realize that no matter how hard you grind and how many material goals you complete, you will be no more happy or satisfied than you are now. Even less satisfied because now the illusion of goals making you happy will be shattered.
If you want real progress you need to work on changing your internal relationship to reality. That's the only thing that will change your condition.
Of course if you are just looking to break free of wage slavery, hustle culture has its purpose. But once you are free of wage slavery you will still be exactly the same slave of your mind that you are today.
I've spent so many years achieving goals that today the prospect of pursuing a material goal hardly interests me. My only goal now is higher consciousness of God. But it took me 10-20 years of work to get here.

I am here for my enjoyment. I also use the forum as a test-bed for my own thoughts and I gain experience dealing with people here. Without the forum this work would be too isolating. I have learned a lot about dealing with people here. I also get feedback on my work which is important. I can't do this work just totally isolated, talking to no one about it, hearing nothing, knowing nothing. I need to understand how my work affects people and what issues people are facing, what questions they have, what progress they're making, etc.
If all I did was record videos, that would be way too limited. And I am not interested in running a commune.
Your view of this forum is too cynical, as if everything here is just useless noise.
People who are into this kind of work are extremely rare. To have dozens and hundreds of them here is no trivial thing. Don't brush that off so flippantly.

That's generally how it works. Each approach builds up state until eventually you stop giving a fuck entirely and you enter a flow state.
But you have to rebuild it every night.
Still, you can enter state much faster if you consciously enter into play rather than just hoping that many approaches will brute force you into it.
And sometimes you may just not be in a playful mood, in which case go home and do something else.
The whole point of going out to engage in nightlife is because you want to have fun. Don't overlook something so basic. If you aren't having fun you are missing the whole point. The problem then is that you have a stick up your ass that needs removing.
See, you gotta ask the deeper question: Why are you so anti fun? Who hurt you?

What you need is a compelling vision for what you can make of your life. A vision for a career, for what kind of leader you can be, what kind of family you could have, what kind of art you could make, etc.
And then just work towards it a bit more each day.
But you don't need any achievement to fulfill you. True fulfillment comes from simply consciousness of Consciousness. That's what spiritual work is all about.
If you do serious spiritual work you will be fulfilled just sitting in a room doing nothing, having nothing, needing nothing.
If you are interested in that I highly recommend Kriya yoga. It will purify your mind and body of low vibrational energies over time. But it requires serious commitment to daily practice.
There is no reason why you cannot develop a happy life. No crazy accomplishment is required.
Life does not need meaning. You can derive 100% of your joy from pure Consciousness itself. But you can also create whatever meaning you want in the near-term to hold you over until you realize meaning is a scam. The real gold is Consciousness, not meaning.

I mean how womankind has sex.
This has all been field-tested to death by men. There are no more secrets. We know the entire process front to back like a formula.
We can draw a geometric formula of distance from club to quantity of sex.
Any man interested in sex should understand and respect that formula.

@LoneWonderer Some tips:
You don't have to focus on one point. It could be better to focus on the entire hand. So you aren't straining so hard. Relax your focus so it's not so effortful. Just keep looking at your entire hand. Allow your eyes to move across your hand. Don't keep them locked. Try to keep mind chatter down. Try not to comment on your experience to yourself. Just sit with relaxed focus and be still and at peace. Try to not-know the hand. Remove all conventional knowing of it, so that the hand becomes somewhat unrecognized. It starts to looks weird. Slowly moving your fingers and hand is good too. It's like playing with your hand. Do it for an hour at a time. Try to gently remind yourself that your hand is Absolute Truth/God. Try to gently remind yourself that your hand is Consciousness and imaginary. That's it. It's hard to fail here. Whatever happens is good.

Daniel Ingram has done many multi-week 24/7 retreats.
This is realistically what it takes to achieve serious spiritual results. That's why it's rare.

As soon as you can find them.
Starting solo is there in case it takes you a while to find someone.
Not gonna lie, solo is brutally hard. It grows you the fastest but I don't trust anyone to learn game solo. That is hellishly hard. I wouldn't trust myself to manage that feat. That's like going to war alone.

This level of stupid is why I dispise socializing.
I cannot stomach how stupid people are. I would rather be alone with God.
Socializing is entertainment for stupid people. It took me a decade to realize that.

If you are afraid of socializing or feel lonely, I strongly encourage you to socialize. This is huge for your development.

Of course he has valid insights and advice for successful living. But it's all corrupted by materialistic ego chasing.

Look, it's fine for learning game and business. But the work I'm doing on another level.

At low doses salvia is manageable. But people are stupid and do high doses.

That's not true.
It's much easier to create success than to create beauty. Beauty is rarer and more valuable than success. Which is why celebrities and models make so much money and have so much fame. It's disproportionate to their level of effort and work. They work very little and make insane amounts.

In the most recent video Leo talked about how every life you raise your consciousness until you eventually merge with the absolute and reach nirvana and then will get bored of that, split from it and start again. If we are use the consciousness is like sand analogy, where reality is an infinite beach and we are all individual sand castles on a beach not aware we are all the sand on the beach, how can I be sure that my next life I will start from the sand castle that has just collapsed.  In other words if I am doing all this consciousness work to reincarnate and have higher levels of consciousness and more chance of reaching nirvana in the next life, how can I be certain I will get the consciousness of the work I did not someone else? 
 
Or am I looking at this from the wrong paradigm as I am the whole beach so I am raising the consciousness of each grain of sand for the next rebirth? 
 
PS I dont want to take reincarnation on as a dogma so I’m still questioning it.

What you're describing is not demographics, it's commonality.
Yes, finding some kind of "magic" commonilty is hugely helpful for getting your foot in the door. For example, if you are German on vacation in Thailand and you bump into a German girl who is also on vacation in Thailand, that gives you a huge advantage in her sleeping with you because there is an instant bond based on shared background.
Like, if you run into a girl and you two were both born in the same hometown just by pure luck, that greatly increases your odds with her. She will think there is some magical connection when in fact it's just dumb luck and she doesn't know how to reason. Haha!
Girls LOVE fake magical coincidences! They love that shit. A crafty devil will exploit this weakness of feminine psychology.
The reason this works is because girls crave to feel special when dating. Anything that makes it feel special and magical will help a lot. Girls hate the idea that she is the 26th girl you approached that day. Girls want to believe that you approached only her for some magical reason. They want that romance fantasy. Unique commonalities make it feel like a magical connection. Like, if you two both got bitten by sharks as kids, she will say to herself, "OMG! He must be my soulmate!"

You need to distinguish between conscious suffering, which leads to ego dissolution vs impairments to the functioning of mind and consciousness: like a hammer to the head -- which will not raise your consciousness nor dissolve the ego. It will just leave you struggling for basic survival.
Strong determination sitting may cause extreme pain, but it does not dull your mind. If it did then it would be counter-productive. Your mind needs to be sharp. Which is why a bad diet is terrible for consciousness work. Prolonged fasting can also impair the mind is counter-productive ways.
If you're going to suffer, you must find ways that don't actually impair the mind's functioning. Stress yourself but don't break yourself.

Breakup is a chemical state. You will not be able to just ignore it through meditation. You have to feel it and let the chemicals work through your body for a few weeks. There are also lessons there for you to learn. You will experience suffering any time you invest a lot of yourself into a thing and then lose it.
Be careful using spirituality to avoid feeling feelings. Don't bypass the feeling of loss.

Strong Determination Sitting is a good way to work on consciousness of pain.
This isn't easy to do, but try to sit for so long that you get to the point where the excruciating pain of your sit turns into pleasure. It's a very distinct inflection point that happens during long, serious sits.
As you sit there in pain for an hour or more, you have ample time to contemplate: What is pain? What is suffering?
With pain and suffering it's very important to try to contemplate it WHILE IT IS HAPPENING, not after the fact. This cuts through speculation and theorizing.
My guess is, you'd have to be pretty deeply enlightened to be able to deconstruct pain in the way Ralston talks about. Because so long as the ego is intact it will bitch and whine and moan and resist too much. A deep surrender is required.
Ralston is talking about super-human levels of consciousness. So don't be discouraged if you can't get it fast.
