I used to envy people who would be toxic and still get results. Then I realized it's just traumatized people entertaining each other. Do you also envy drug dealers and pimps who date the hookers that they hangout with? I would say that would ruin any peace of mind and enjoyment of life you have. They are all miserable using temporary dopamine and fucking each other over.
Maybe your type of woman doesn't hangout in nightclubs?

@Carl-Richard That's a good point. I think those factual mistakes will be fixed but I think the even greater fool's trap is it will remove the need to think entirely. Already AI has read every book released so you could ask it for book summaries of all the books on Leo's list for example.
There is a new paradigm though where you can use it instead as a way to test your own knowledge and benefit from the hundreds of billion put into training it. Definitely will be interesting to see what type of learning opportunities will come out of it in the next decade.

Well soon enough we are going to have the greatest disparity in intelligence ever seen in history. I'd say most people are gonna rely on AI to just feed them entertainment where as some are gonna use it to sharper their intellect and become a superintelligence themselves.

Slightly off topic but could it be the case that Jesus was sleeping with Mary Magdalene? That is the one thing in history that doesn't make sense to me; if Jesus was enlightened he wouldn't really demonize sex right? It was just convenient for him to distill easy lessons for people to follow so he hammered home the points on no adultery but him getting some on the side would tie the whole thing together beautifully for me.

There is definitely a big limit on how much you can achieve by being against the system; eventually, you have to merge back. What's the next step after a massive drug lord completely dominates the industry? Takes over the government? Then what; makes a country based on drug dealing? Where does he send his kids afterward; regular school or drug dealing school?
I think Breaking Bad is the perfect story of the full arc of a criminal where Heinsenberg got into drug dealing to help his family then after it destroys everything he realizes it was really to fulfill his power and egotic ambitions.

I guess his punishment wasn't severe enough for him to feel the pain and need to evolve to a stage green consciousness. Fascinating how that works.

Deeply deluded but smart individual. Human relationships cannot really be understood from a Dualistic concept of gender wars otherwise doesn't matter how clever explanations you come up with of how both genders treat each other; you're still fundamentally at war.

Ukrainian men are all doomed to die in this war. If it was an actual invader that could be pushed off perhaps if you identified more with the people and land that were being attacked than yourself then it would make logical sense for you to die for them. From my research of the conflict though it's based on extremely convoluted geopolitical games and being just a grunt on the front lines is basically suicide for both parties so to call that a duty seems pretty crazy to me.

@Hardkill A widespread revolution is almost impossible in our day and age. The socialists, especially on Reddit, hope for a general strike of the working population for example. That's basically collectively giving up our lives and all inning on a random hope for a utopia. Do you think the average poor or broke person is willing to literally die so that another poor person perhaps has a better chance in the future? No way.
The only revolution we're getting in the near future is gonna be AI based; that will ultimately change the paradigm of mankind as it has the potential to end scarcity itself.

What do you see the purpose of bad being? It makes sense that destructive action is coming out of fear, ignorance, and unmet needs as @Buck Edwards said because otherwise whatever goal said bad person is trying to achieve with bad action could be achieved with a more constructive action.
Meaning that whatever bad person is trying to get, revenge, power, control, sex, etc can be achieved more thoroughly with a pro social action rather than a negative one. So I agree with him that's it's pretty much fundamentally rooted in pathology or basically spiritual dis

Yeah, he's right. We're nearing a late stage capitalism that the communists and Marx warned about. Where the working class loses all it's power to the business, banking and political class. Solution is some kind of systemic revolution, I don't see what else is gonna change it.
Stuff like global conflict gonna make it even worse for the average person as these rich entities play capitalism while the average people can barely buy bread.

Andrew Bustamante is a great resource for knowledge on the inner workings of the CIA and the implications of that knowledge. Highly recommend his own channel where especially stuff like his interviews with his wife(also an ex CIA spy) are fascinating. Like what are the game implications of relationships when you're a spy? Interesting to reflect on.
If you like that kind of content highly recommend the Shawn Ryan Show, he's an ex navy seals who interviews a bunch of people who are also ex-military and work for various government agencies. It's actually mind-boggling to me that we're starting to get hit by this type of long-form content on Youtube; I take notes on it every day.

@thenondualtankie I would argue mostly the point of government is more physical security than anything economical. If anything when they get too economical is when we start to see issues.
