  2. Very good topic, Philip! I had the same opinion previously as most of you here in terms of understanding the person and providing advice on the level this person can understand. However, it was changed not a long time back. I think advice and experienced should be shared from highest level we're in today without any adjustments. By that, you kind of sharing your reality and experience as of you're NOW and inviting to learn/experience of what you're today. If person isn't that advanced but open minded to advance concept he/she will grasp it pretty quick. On the other hand, there are folks who think they know everything and therefore can't grasp many different concepts. I found it's almost impossible to be productive with those people regardless which level they are in. Anyhow, what most think is advance concept isn't really that difficult. It's very intuitive and straight forward. The difficulty comes from the fact that in most cases it goes against common knowledge/society and most people habits cause those habits are driven by society. Therefore, complexity comes when person need to change habits and some of those habits are coming from very early childhood. Therefore, most if us don't even question some concepts and think it's ridicules if someone have different opinion on one subject or another. As long as you're open minded and agree to question absolutely everything to find truth, there will be no issues in levels of advancements. Namaste

This is an extension to the topic started by Lynnel and the idea is to challenge your-SELF to change one negative habit in 3 weeks timeline(it's usually takes 21 days to change negative habit into positive) using 3 levels - 1 each week. Every next level will bring you to advance level of mindfulness. If you strong enough to commit and go through it, result might be shocking ( based on my personal experience ) . Very simple practice - all you do for 3 weeks is restricting your-SELF from any arguments. ABSOLUTELY ZERO ARGUMENTS with anybody, anything and majorly with your mind, ego, self, you call it... 1. First week once you feel like arguing about anything and with anything mentioned above and not mentioned, you stop... take a breath and say to your-SELF quietly I'll NOT do it. Smile and walk away or don't smile...something like that.. First week is the easiest cause all you have to do is to realize you want to argue and stop. You can curse after that, get upset or whatever but no arguments even with your mind (sometime when you argue with someone even after it over you argue with your mind after that) - double fun -BIG NO ...let it go and accept it eventually. Do it for a full week. 2. Second week you advance to not just stopping but smiling and be satisfied cause you didn't get into the argument. Realize that you didn't awake negative energy within you and didn't spread it around. As you might know you get in what you put out there and if you put out negative energy you will eventually get hit by it. So idea to get cleaner by not doing it and at the same time increase your awareness in this area. Think about it periodical during second week. 3. Third and last week is the most advance one and on the top of previous 2 points YOU need to realize one additional thing if argument comes along: the entity you feel like get into argument with and your-SELF have same roots. You're the ONE in nature and arguing with your-SELF is simply non-sense. Don't just think about it - get a feeling of it. Feel that the argument can come only from your ego and even your ego has the same base as everything else but just ignorant of that...get this deep feeling and smile, enjoy it, say something nice to the entity you could of argue with and thank this entity for bringing one or another topic up cause deep inside you realize it help you raise your awareness up and become a bit bigger comparing to day before. Well last step isn't easy to explain but hopefully after 2 weeks you get it, I'm pretty sure you will partially if not fully. We can discuss it more if needed in the worst case but I'll make sure it will be clear for most Anyhow, think if you can commit to this challenge and only commit if you pretty confident you can do it. If you do, share it here and record how many times a day you avoided arguments or potentially scandals and with who/what. Report once a week your results and feelings after end of week. Simple enough? Make sure you're not making up things during 3 weeks period - you'll fool only your-SELF nobody else. I don't care if you share it here or not but please don't fool your-SELF for your own sake. Good Luck! Although it's not about luck as always
  6. @LinLin It also applies to internal arguments within your mind. This is much more difficult cause you first need to be AWARE it's happening in your mind and second, let it go... I still don't see much interest in this subject so we might not start is as a group but rather start it on your own and feel free to post updates.
  7. @Thesis I know it might sound crazy but stop reading any of your books and concentrate on understanding and letting go of all your fears. You will see how much more benefits you'll get from it...and yes to do so no need to read long books, find a practical video and practice.

  12. @NoOne The problem is simple, you're NoOne. Become SomeOne and not just SomeOne but The One you would love YourSelf to BE. Every given moment you have a choice to make out of many different things you can choose in this moment, make a choice you'll be satisfied and proud off and pursue it till the moment you're happy and excited about your choice. Once pleasure is gone chose your next best object and same way take it to the maximum of satisfaction and joy and so on...Be truthful with your choices and make those choices in alignment with reality and nature so they don't hurt other life being. Follow this and you'll be fine...simple enough?

  16. Thoughts are pretty real so the subject you thinking about. It becomes real for you but not for everyone else since others might not focus on same. Focusing on arguments and fights will bring to your life same. Everything in this world relevant to subject who experiencing it. What true for one person isn't true for another. Today was another beautiful day and it's pretty real for me. Many experiences and satisfaction from what's been achieved, life have many colors to those with 'open eyes'. Existence has a lot to offer but it's up to you and what you channeling to experience from that infinite. This is one of the reason why it pays to work on self-actualization. Eventually you will be able to see what you thinking off and be free of what others pushes to you to make them more important/powerful or rich. This is how you're becoming one with existence by letting all go and just focusing on reality and realizing it flows through you and it's the only unchanged thing which fulfilled your body and always be...
  17. It's quite important to spend at least 1 hour a day around nature. I also think I'd be so much more advanced if I could afford living in the Wild. It's a fact that city consumes 90+% of your brain activities with business and activities which might not be even for YOU specifically in the end of the day. All these brain activities distracts you from living in the moment...That's in a nutshell and not easy to overcome as I found based on my experience.

I don't get those unpleasant states of mind in the past10 years or so but going back in how I was able to overcome it I'd say the most important fact was to understand is that it's simply a state of mind which can do quite a damage to your general physical state if you let it affect you. In essence it's not different from pleasant states which can also affect you physical and mental conditions in a positive way or negative way. So let's take the common example: you lost your job, tried several things perhaps even some interviews, nothing worked and you become anxious about making any steps forward and generally depressed with the whole situation. What to do? 1. Understand it's a state of mind and for your Mind it's easiest to give up and get into this negative state after trying a few things. 2. understand this will not work for you and will bring you into worst situation comparing to reality ( in a nutshell your mind makes it even worse when it actually is) 3. Remember a similar situation and how you overcome it before 4. start believing in yourself and come up with a plan of getting more interviews and how to be successful on those interviews to get hired 5. execute your plan with positive attitude and land your perfect job. I know it might be easy sound than do, but in the end of the day positive attitude will bring you energy to accomplish all these steps and you need this 360 degree change from where you're now to where you want to be. So you take 1 positive step and a time and build from there. Just remember start with building this positive momentum one step at a time and realize You're the one who does it and its all in Your hands.
  19. @electroBeam Hey Electro, visualization wouldn't be a first step to resolve issue you gave in example. You'd need to identify what type of blockage you have which stops you to be confident around girls. The easiest way is to identify if it's relevant to all girls, girls you like and basically find what's the nature of this. You're probably confident if that would be your sister or closest relative, right? So in the end of analysis you'd understand it's something to do with the view on how you look at one of your characteristics like look, sexuality or you had some bad experiences before which needs to be released and let go. There are many technics for that but first you need to identify what exactly it's. Once you identify find technics and apply and after that go to practice and just look into it as a game where Simon says...get friendly with a girl in the bar or in library or in the store...whatever makes you mind more attractive to play with...

  24. @Ivelina I've been doing Bikram for many years and it isn't crazy. It's actually the best thing that happen to me in the whole life. From that, raise of conciseness and higher vibration started.
