Posted Wednesday at 06:15 AM (edited) @Natasha Tori Maru I can message now Also is this limited to personal Art only or can AI art be included? I made some really cool images using mid-journey a few years back, played around with it for a month and then dropped it cause i felt it was not what I wanted to support. Here are a few examples while it lasted. The more creative i became with the prompts, the more interesting and detailed the results. I do more environmental or space art, like how i geometrically structure my room and household, environments and such, quite artsy and other forms of art, I guess you could say I am an Artist of Being... The way i do things and carry and express myself, a lot of magic wish i could put into words or paintings, more so i turn into music through instruments. Maybe one day I'll share here if it feels right Unfortunately I suck at the traditional paint/pen/paper art as I was abused a lot during schooling and my pen to paper became quite messy. Posted 6 hours ago In my teens (up to age 20) I was actually a decent photographer. I was accepted and attended one of Denmarks best art and visual media colleges and had a Flickr photo account in which I regulary got into the trending tab and was on and off their top 100 photographers list for 6 years. All that is in the past now. I only do photography recreationally these days and only for fun. Below are just a few of MANY pictures I've taken in the last 7 years all on my smartphone. The best camera is truly the one that you have on you These were taken in Norway, Spain, and Portugal. I have much much higher quality photos than these but this is a good general selection. Posted 5 hours ago @LoneWonderer Oh my - DON'T STOP! I love the first one - I am a huge fan of architecture (of course lol, I build the shit) and brutalism is so underappreciated! @chisel This is brilliantly skilled work. What mediums did you use? A combination? A lot of skill in this render, particularly how you have mastered the soft shading gradients of the lashes and skin, while also rendering the harder clean details within the eye to really emphasis the glassy, mirror like nature of the eye. The reflection rendered in strict, clean white sets it off @Ramasta9 I really love these! I am a huge fan of mandala like images. I think I posted a mandala somewhere in this thread. Fractals, colours. Very attractive and striking. I am also glad you saved these ones, as it carries meaning considering AI has large power and water costs to the environment. I love AI used for art, but I hate when it is wantonly used for memes, stupid images etc. Big environmental costs. But these are worth the power & water <3 I have a confession - I HAVE BEEN SHOCKINGLY LAZY LATELY I have only done some doodles recently. Nothing finished. I have been teaching myself weaving/macrame as I have been flat out at work & life. I'll post my weaving experiments soon ! Posted 4 hours ago @LoneWonderer Australian bushland vibes. Sometimes I want to capture something of the arid land here, despite the lack of vibrancy and colour. This is the weaving I have been going at - I'll probably work off the metal triangle with finer threads and hang this piece of Tibetan quartz I have It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled. Posted 3 hours ago @Natasha Tori Maru Thanks Sister, maybe I'll share a few more then. Speaking of architecture... I have a thing for tiny homes, I seen some fascinating ideas on instagram, have you worked with those ideas? I am starting to realize its going to be far cheaper to afford decent amount of land and just build a tiny home for shelter, because who needs a mansion when Ideally you want to be spending most of your time around beautiful gardens and trees and attending to nature and animals. Besides, more you have, more to clean, ask my mum That's my ideal life at least, shelter is mostly for sleep after a long days work. I once lived in Northern NSW in a teepee with a fireplace in the middle, was a wonderful experience and simple life. We worked all day in the gardens, played instruments, danced around, climbed trees, fed and played with animals, picked fruit, and in the evening enjoyed the sunset and shared a meal in the teepee, sang some songs, told stories, and slept like gods. The inside of the teepee was full of carpets, futon style minimal bedding, and beautiful art designs and minimal furniture, yet still spacious. Unlike the traditional teepee, the roof was a mushroom cap so rain doesn't come in but smoke from the fire in the center leaves out nicely, and soundest / deepest sleep i ever had i must say. The indigenous couple who lived there long term shared how the fire and smoke actually facilitates clearing and transmutation of energies and bad dreams. They did have a main house, but only the kids and some elder guests slept in there, was always extra work. I don't think they live there anymore unfortunately, council is always a big bully here in Australia, you would probably know this. What you weaving there miss? dress or hippie door vibes?
