I’m in a new city with few contacts and I have emotional problems (mental health problems). Can anyone help me strategize socially? I’m also struggling financially. (I’m in fucking shambles)

  1. Find something fun to do with other people on a regular basis (whatever kind of meetup, acting class, public speaking, group workouts you can find). You need social interaction.
  2. Get therapy so you can improve on your mental health problems, which will also improve your social life and financials massively.

@John Paul These two videos have helped me. Basically, put yourself in as many social situations as possible, but start slow and give yourself a lot of time. You can always take one baby step towards more interaction from your current standpoint.

Hairdressers are good to practice with.

I’m not in the city yet. I’m outside the city with some family. I’m just stir-crazy cause I’m getting less hours than I expected to work.
