Yea you are right. I worked in a psychiatry and there are things happening, that you could call operating animals. 

But I saw also hope. Sometimes you can sparkle a low light of conscioussness in that people. When you only think of such people as "animals" I think thats cruel. Even a full blown heroin addict is smarter than most animals.. at least he can get his heroin to "survive"

@Tetrapeter I would argue animals are more clear-headed than addicts. At least animals are not addicted and lairs.

Humans can be worse than animals if they totally let themselves go.

Animals are more reasonable than the folks in most of these police cams.

I have to say this is not the full truth, I'd say around ~80% of the addicts are like that, but if you watch enough videos talking with druggies you'll realise there's a 20% which has quite some head and perspective on life. True their situation is shitty and they recognise their addiction and defects, but also so many experiences with drugs make them have a different perspective on life that in my opinion is more accurate than the average traditional brain-dead Christian or Muslim Joe.

In any long video documentary on the suburbs you'll find one of these persons, and they share interesting perspectives worth considering and not to be thrown in the same bag as their peers and the shit holes where they live.
