When people say "wokeism", an embarrassingly large percentage of the time they are simply talking about black people, women, gays, or trans people being featured in movies or TV shows, or twitter censoring people saying the N word or harassing trans people. 

The thread doesn't warrant a serious response because without further context it's too likely this person merely takes issue with these innocuous social trends.

Wokeism is a term to describe a mind set of equanimity for all races.  It's supposed to encourage compassion for others in a worse condition than the average person not struggling.  However in an attempt at making this the norm it just alienates people.  It's also a form of censorship and mind control.  I love to treat people how I would like to be treated.  So why do I need some progressive bs like wokeism...ps: I'm a democrat, but a moderate Democrat...not some liberal wack job.

   No, I think you're right in saying that wokeism one of many other limitations of the excesses of SD green groups and values. Wokeism also is part of the SD green political activism groups like humanitarian rights activism, animal welfare activism, environmental activism, even the online strains of the leftist political activism groups like SJWs or #Metoo activists, even ANTIFA is part of wokeism although it's a more aggressive soft terrorist group of the left that goes farther than activism.
