Colognes/ Perfumes

I love fragrances. Is wearing them damaging to my health?

I wash and groom with natural products, or at least products that are marketed as natural. I just enjoy spraying on a nice cologne after.

Thanks

Probably not, just damaging to your wallet ;)

Maybe if you have some sensitive skin it could be damaging I guess but I can't see how else

Ah, price doesn't bother me. More worried about spraying chemicals and them being absorbed by my skin

It would be a negligible contribution to total toxin overload compared to other things we do.

After cutting out fragrances I became extremely sensitive to them and get a headache when I am around perfumes.

@Craigxt22 Definitely they are dangerous. Find a new fragrance. Ditch any product that says perfume or fragrance on the label. Replace with natural products. Your body will thank you.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

@Craigxt22 Get into essential oils. It's a whole world with endless mindblowing fragances ! For now I love Peppermint oil and Grapefruit oil, Defintately lemmon grass oil and Coffe essential oil. The smell is beyond amazing. You can get some cool humidifiers and even wear them as cologne. Look up the proper way to do it and enjoy !

Antony Williams in his book cleanse to heal says that colognes/perfumes, aromatized candles, plug-in air fresheners, air freshener sprays are very toxic. He don't do much of explanation about perfumes/colognes though.

I bought myself a natural perfume. You can make your own from essential oils and vitamin E. Vitamin E stabilizes them and makes them last longer.
