Soy, for/against?

7 posts in this topic

Not a single food online and on youtube with the amount of bro science videos produced have I seen two sides that completely disagree with each other. One side says fermented is bad, raw is okay, another side says both is bad, and finally another side that says the other two are morons and are completely wrong. What do you all think? Does soy raise estrogen and is it good for you to eat processed or unprocessed?

Welcome to health advice on the internet. I don't think it's bad. Don't eat a bunch of it  (like pretty much everything) and you'll be fine.

nice take @Michael569

so don't worry too much about soy affecting estrogen/testosterone and focus more on getting exercise, eating healthy diet and losing body fat to have a more optimal hormonal level?

Sure it can be part of a health food intake. Nothing wrong with it. A lot of unproven fairytales are around the internet , probably created by meat eaters.

After seeing a lot of posts on this health subforum I'm like: "What does NOT contribute to brain fog?"xD

I think it depends on how your body react to it, for most people it should be fine. I do get sick if I eat any soy. For the large majority who has no major issues eating soy, different amounts are good for different people. One has to figure out for themselves through elimination.

Often overlooked causes of spiritual regression are exposure to free glutamate and EMF's. For me personally the REID program has helped me a lot, but everyone walks their own path and what has a profound impact for one person might be negligible for another.
