Is there anything Biden could do to look bad as president after a Trump?

People are very happy and i get it, i'm happy for the environment, (unity) and hope Biden doesn't disappoint.

I fear a bit that because Biden defeated Trump and took the obnoxious, narcissist, sexist etc. rich kid out of the white house, people will look the other way if he does some "bad" shit.

To me he could be worse if he'd start some big wars, unwarranted conflicts etc.

Goodness. Anyone is better than Trump to be honest 

Biden has not even started his presidency and doubts are already casting doubts on him. 

I can assure you that nobody can be worse than Trump other than his clone or something. Someone similar to him. 

Biden has a huge amount of work cut out for him. He has to repair the damage caused by the Trump administration and he has already begun. 

Biden is a fairly responsible guy.

Look bad to who? The left is already having a field day with Biden, accusing him of being a corporate democrat. Remember, he has no progressive agenda, he won on the platform of being "not Trump". He will undo the shit that Trump did but for the most part I expect him to be complacent. Healthcare will still be ridiculously expensive, min wage will still be <$8 an hour, college will still be out of reach for most. He is going to take a lot of heat from the left.

 

To the right he is a puppet of the radical left. So they will cry socialism at every turn. He will go down as the worst pres in history according to fox news, stripping people of their "freedoms" requiring masks, increasing taxes, and shit like that.

 

The only people that like Biden are old conservatives who don't like Trump.

It’s a matter of perspective. Some see Biden as a breath of fresh air, some see Biden as a corporate shill that doesn’t actually care about people, and some see Biden as the gateway to communism.

The effect that certain people in positions of power have on thier society are such that the culture and institutions of a society are irrevocably altered.

The only way I see a future leader being as bad as Trump is if they shared his fascistic tendencies while also being competent in thier attempts to destroy democracy.

And it's far from a given at this point whether or not a figure like that will eventually come to power in the United States.  But that figure is not going to come from a Centrist politician who's only planning on running for one term as President.

If he does nothing, then too he won't be worse than Trump. 

Because in Trump's case, nothing is better than something/anything. 

At some point it was Anything but Trump versus Trump in the presidential debates.

This makes Biden look bad compared to a good candidate for President, which Biden never really was. Compared to Trump, it’s alright. ??‍♂️
