Do you enjoy/like autumn?

55 posts in this topic

Fall is beautiful.

Taking walks in the forest, or in parks, looking at the trees. Staying present.

Squirrels and other animals are gathering their food for winter is coming soon.

The changing colors. Seeing the leaves fall. The cycle. Leaves are dying.

And i'm eating pumpkin almost everyday.

Autumn is an important month for me religiously because I celebrate Halloween. And so religiously, pumpkin is an important fruit. I make pumpkin soup and pumpkin halwa and pumpkin spice latte.

Also this month is my contemplation month. And celebration month as well.

I like going for long walks along avenues surrounding by trees and collect fall leaves.

This is my Samhain month which will begin on 31st October evening.

^ Pumpkin spice latte is not really so much a thing in Europe but i've had it once in Starbucks, it was good.

Good idea, i'll try to make it myself also.

I bought like 7 different types of pumpkin already this fall.

The one that i'm cooking today looks interesting.

Yes, in Northern Europe autumn is so cozy, and I always feel some sort of deep nostalgia when autumn comes. Its amazing.

Going for the afternoon in the forest.

It's so beautiful I can walk hours, and just sit being fully present.

It's the best ?

Where exactly in India? Because it's a very large country that extends on multiple climatic zones.

I prefer not saying. Ah, Kashmir! There's an Arabian famous perfume called Kashmir. Not my favourite though lol.

Love going for walks all year round but particularly love the autumn colours with all the leaves on the ground.

Drew this the other day trying to capture the feeling of a stroll and state of mind...

I thought this was just like some western thing. What is the significance of Halloween in India if I may ask?

Right now I'm experiencing autumn. You need to live  in India to experience India. India is too big..

I have always been enjoying autumn since my childhood growing up in my country collecting fall leaves

It may not be as long as in European countries but its Autumn nonetheless.

It has no significance in Hindu culture.

But I'm a witch

So for me Halloween is the most important thing.

@Preety_India I'm Indian lol.  Obviously there is autumn everywhere but it's shorter here and not noticeable.
