The masterclass add of Neil Tyson is very interesting

9 posts in this topic

In the first sentence he says "one of the great challenges in this world, is knowing enough about a subject to think you're right, but not enough about the subject to know you're wrong"

Lol did he just admit that western science is a devil corporation? :P

Btw, that's the most honest, true thing I've ever heard him said.

EDIT: he goes on (paraphrased) "the cool thing about an objective truth is, its true no matter what! How about that!" xDxDxD

That's a great ad, really summarises well, very concisely, the mindset of a rationalist and what makes them tick.

this is just further indoctrination into stage orange. He is teaching you to think rationally.

As always, he's describing self-deception, which if true, applies first and foremost to himself.

You don't understand self-deception unless you understand that you are thick in the middle of it right now.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

@Leo Gura  How much DMT have you injected up your ass this time on your retreat?  Have you figured out how to rewire the brains of fetuses in Africa yet?

He just recited a recycled definition of the Dunning-kruger effect. It's a staple of orange intellectual culture.

Intrinsic joy is revealed in the marriage of meaning and being.

@DivineSoda he's an interesting character for sure. If you can put your bias aside and ignore is delusions. Then you can see his inner child, and his curiosity. It's a shame his ego will prevent him from realizing the truth, I feel quite sad for him, as I was in his place years ago. And I'd have done anything to be led to this path.
