How to forgive? How to heal?

38 posts in this topic

How to forgive a lifetime of neglect? Abandonment?

How to forgive betrayal?

How to forgive distrust?

Risking life for someone's love is insane, right? How do I forgive myself? How do I overcome loss?

How do I forgive the one who did not recognize the depth of my heart? My will, my effort, my courage, my selflessness?

How do I forgive myself for needing them to recognize me?

How do I forgive myself for not recognizing myself? My worth? My pride? My boundaries?

How do I heal?

how can I even respond to this? ?

edit: (I think you know the answer to this entire poem of anguish)

Feel into it all continuously until it relinquishes itself ?

@DrewNows Gently, in love xD

Cannot find a reason to forgive. But I need to heal.

@ivankiss I heard once that forgiveness is a byproduct, and cannot be forced (shouldn’t even try)

you will have to go deep within, understand why you feel the way you do and then love this entirely. Suffer, weep, love, and accept. Allow yourself to become whole again.

It may take several occasions but doing things like shamanic breath work can speed up the healing process

I left anger out but yes you can also let the anger flow through you first, and give yourself space focusing on the breath as much as you need

I feel your pain friend ?????

@DrewNows

full spectrum you say...?

Up and down the ladder I go xD

Feels good when I let it out. But then I don't feel enlightened xD

Not balanced and unable to embody certainty. Cannot accomplish shit.

Hilarity seems to be curative.

Pain is still real. And deep.

Deeper than the breath; it seems.

Appreciate it bro :)

Sometimes.

All the body/mind to ride the lows just as you would ride the highs.

Seems this may be the end result ?

Yeah but...what about the space?

it is the space that makes all this possible ?❤️

How do I forgive myself for not laughing out loud when I smiled inside?

How do I forgive myself for suppressing my joy because of someone else's pain?

I know the answers, deep inside...Questions still arise.

@DrewNows lots of space for pain to come to be. I'd try to escape; but not certain enough

xD

Without judgement, what is forgiveness?

The forgiver is already the forgiven. Thought is sneaky, but Love never fails.

The baseline shifts in consciousness are often in two parts, the expansion, and then the flotsam & jetsam.

We would be forced to look

At ourselves emerged in lost time"

Makes sense. Got me thinking.... a by product of what? Humility? Love? our general spiritual growth?

It does make sense that's its a by product of something, because forgiveness is something that seems so simple, yet rebellion dogs our every step. It is right in front of us, but we cannot get there. I'm working on forgiveness all the time, and mostly failing.

The by product of this perhaps? As you were saying.

@Bill W Yup, forgiveness being acceptance and the byproduct of self love (allowing every emotion, often starting with hate, and not "needing" to feel better)

watch the last 15 minutes of this video. It will bring up the term forgiveness (starting at 55th min), how and why it is often misunderstood. If you like the last 15 min i'd recommend listening to the whole thing

@ivankiss In the video i shared they discuss healing the inner child, understanding pain and anger, and how we unknowingly abandon aspects of ourselves, abandonment being subtle resistance/prolonged suffering due to lack of integration

@DrewNows Thanks. Not a big Teal fan though. I am into Matt Kahn, alot. He talks about the inner child often. In fact; all of his teachings are focused on healing.

Love him dearly. Helped me alot in past. And even nowdays resonance is strong.

However; I really feel like this one is on me, solely. Between me and myself. Gotta find my own way.
