The Art of Life

This is a really interesting documentary about a mathematician turned modern ascetic, living a life of freedom in Maui:

I feel it will be of interest to actualized.org people

Yeah you have to rent it for a couple of bucks or buy it, via the link. I ended up with a promo code to watch it for free but can't remember where I got it from :( will update here if I find it.

Hawaii's a beautiful place. Lots of helicopters though which ruins the whole nature vibe. Helicopter noise is inescapable on the Big Island  :(

Oh yeah Kauai had a lot of tourist and military helicopters too, munitions tests, military jets doing exercises. A really jarring juxtaposition against all the natural splendour. Nonetheless, it's a really beautiful and bountiful place.

@Thabit Al-khateeb I'm really glad you liked it! What a great snapshot into an unusual and inspiring life.

I like seeing helicopters and military jets in the sky. They look nice. They also make nice background noise.

Anyway, I think that man's really lucky. He has no financial obligation. He is free. He bought himself freedom.
