said that none of that matters on a strong psychedelic.  But if you are talking meditation the more crap you fill your head with the further the ego can burrow itself.  So deep as to never come out.

But I’m not suggesting filling your head with crap . With wisdom . There is wisdom in Buddhism , Hinduism , Taoism , Islam , Christianity etc
By the way these are the origin of spirituality and god . They are now turned into dogmas and beliefs as religion. But from where else did the modern spiritual teachings and teachers extract their spirituality ?
see ?

“God is the Alpha Omega .. the beginning-less  beginning and the endless end .
He is the first without start . He is the last without end . He is the manifest actuality ..nothing covers him . He is the most hidden essence  ..nothing can grasp him .. nothing below him or more subtle than him .The ego is the belief I’m separate from god . Because being god is too good to be true .No matter how dark it gets or difficult it gets ..no matter how long it is going to take .. my destiny is the infinite happiness and infinite joy and love as the best thing ever ..God .  “

-that’s a me .

What about stoicism and Marcus Aurelius?

Ok but if they have been turned into dogmas and beliefs as religion then what were they before?

Maybe there was a guy who got enlightened and put it into words. Those words spread.

So of course if you trace the origins. I don't dispute Christ was enlightened

Wisdom.  Truth.  Love.

One leads to the other. Yet you have to drop the one else you stay at I am that and don't graduate to I am. The one is necessary. Kids need help. You should figure out which is which and I'll leave that as an exercise,

Every spiritual teaching becomes a doctrine, a doctrine becomes a unique path, a path becomes a tradition, and a tradition becomes a religion. So it's basicly the same thing except that the teachings can get distorted along the way, but if you were to purify the distortions, you'd still have a religion continuing. Spirituality is like a seed and religion is like the tree that grows out of it.

To truly love something is to grant that thing freedom. It is to hold it in an open, outstretched palm of your hand without clenching over it.

Three differences

1. Religion is a belief system. Spirituality is a direct-experience system.

2. Religion is a misunderstanding of other people's spiritual experiences

3. Religion is retarded. Spirituality is non-retarded.
