There is no true self and ego, there is fear that creates closure and absence of fear that allows the openess.

You can't tell the fear to go, you just can look at it directly, be humble enough to allow the essential fear to manifest in the surface until you integrate it and there is no fear anymore, it's just survival instinct, a facet of you, not something external to you that encloses you.

Then you see the obvious, that what you are can't die because what you are is the life appearing as you, not you with a life inside that can die.

It's just the mentally constructed I, (which feels separate/incomplete and which takes personal ownership of thoughts etc),  which isn't real, it's a fiction.

Your emoticon are very convincing, but even that solid argument, I'd say that "you" is the self, and the self is the structure that reality takes when a living being created a model of reality where exchange of information between inside and outside happens, then the perceptor appears, and this perceptor exist, same that anything else than appear

Yes, the living body seemingly has perception. 

But there isn't a you/perceptor.

The experiencer isn't actually there.

The body is empty.......no soul, no self, no you

The experiencer is mistaken for the bodily senses and imagination.

There isn't a self inside or outside of the body.........it's the ultimate illusion!
