Staying Clean or Going Fuck Mode As a Man? :)

32 posts in this topic

From my experience, I wanted to have fun first, until now I'm in relationships many years later and fully committed. If I had gone into a relationship first, I would have regretted not having a "single" lifestyle. This can, of course, differ from person to person, but as men, meeting girls is natural. Something to keep remembering is that if you fuck a lot, the pickier you might become when choosing a partner, and it can get hard to commit to one.

Love > lust

To truly love something is to grant that thing freedom. It is to hold it in an open, outstretched palm of your hand without clenching over it.

I will say it will only push me further in an inescapable hole of never finding the suitable life partner.

It creates a void that cannot be filled with anyone anymore.

And nothing new comes out of it, it is only a repetition of cuming and satisfying your body with no meaning or depth to it.

You didn't answer my question but that's fine you have your point of view. Satisfying your body is quite normal and healthy, but that's my point of view; when you're hungry you eat.

Thank you, folks. After reading your answers it seems that it'd better to stay 'pure', perhaps. And yeah, I'm not religious at all.

🤣

Do whatever you think it’s best for you.

But the problem is that I do not know what is best for me. And just 'trying it out' would cost quite a lot of time and effort.

I've met several couples in their mid 20s to early 30s who have been together since they were like 18-19 and haven't really experienced single life at all. Even though they were all healthy relationships, almost universally they said they felt like they'd missed out on that aspect of life, male or female.

If you've only ever been with one person you're most likely going to experience that FOMO at some point.

Better to get that out of your system, get some experience with several types of people to really figure out who you're compatible with, and then settle down when you find the right person. This applies to male or female btw. I recommend you stop judging women for sleeping around a bit or thinking that it makes them "low quality"

I second this.

I think when you’re young don’t think about effort too much. You have plenty of time. This is just self deception to stay lazy.

It’s not easy to go out of your comfort zone but it is necessary. Developing social skills is one of the best things you can do.

But usually women with high body count are really incompatible with long-term healthy relationships. Why not consider them 'low quality'?

I'm an extrovert and if we're talking about my social skills, they are quite okay. I can cold approach a girl on the street or start a conversation with someone, no brainer.

This is false, or at the very least completely unproven.

There is a demonstrated increase in divorce rate for people (not just women) with 10+ partners, but it’s pretty minor. There are several far bigger factors in divorce rate.

If the underlying reason for a high body count is BPD or a generally chaotic lifestyle or something else unhealthy, then yes, perhaps a long term relationship is unwise. But the same is true of a man. The reason for the high body count is more important than the body count itself.

There is no conundrum :)

I recommend not dwelling on body count, as though it’s a major factor in your own self-worth or the suitability of a potential partner.

30 partners? 2 partners? Think about how much information is lost when you reduce someone’s entire sexual and romantic history to a single number.

I’d be much more interested in the story behind the number — how someone treats other people, what they value, and how they approach intimacy and relationships.

And I’d encourage you to reconsider your characterization of most women as “hoes.” That’s a much bigger obstacle to finding a meaningful relationship than anyone’s body count. If you approach a woman already viewing her through that lens — however justified that characterization may seem to you — you’re undermining the possibility of a meaningful relationship before it even begins.

Live your life, treat people well, and don’t make numbers more important than the actual human beings involved. Find people you enjoy being with, and be with them.

But since we're on numbers — you're 19! You have an enormous amount of growing, learning, and maturing ahead of you. That's a wonderful thing. Enjoy :)

You can choose sexuality or you can choose love and respect.

If you choose the first one the later are not gonna be in your basket and you would call your relationships "complicated".

But if you choose the later the first is also gonna be in your basket but with dignity.

I would suggest to you to stay clean as you've said and be patient for that one wife material that you want.

It will be harder but she will come into your life.

You just have to be patient and trust time and also fight your urges in this case.

But the fruit of it will be much more tasteful and eternal.

You don't believe in the nonduality teachings talked about by Leo? Monogamy is an invention of society to stabilize itself, it doesn't point to any spiritual truths. You have a shared connection with every woman and man on earth. To think that you can only have an eternal connection with one person is a bit silly.

I think you're indoctrinated if you believe that you can't find a lot of intimacy, respect and even love in anything but a monogamous relationship.

@SimpleGuy Regardless of if casual sex appeals to you, working on your social life is still quite important. The average man is lonely and isolated and has not much impact in society. You can work on all of these things and have very little sex or you can build up your social capital and have a lot of sex along with it.

A lot of the men on the forum are quite sheltered so that will reflect in their opinions but if we push the concept further; the benefits of having social capital go much beyond sex.
