Following. I haven't done any meditation retreat yet — only psychedelic-related ones.

But looking forward to doing a Vipassana. I was actually considering going somewhere in Asia for that.

@cjoseph90 Yes, I live in Switzerland so mostly here. My initial retreats were with Inner Mastery, but quite a controversial company. After I observed some issues with the way in which they were administering it, and also as I got to know more people in the psychedelic community, I started attending more private ones, smaller retreats, and doing psychedelics myself. If you'd be interested in these smaller retreats in this region let me know, I can share some instagram links of organizers. But psychedelics are getting so common nowadays that you'll likely be able to find it wherever you live.

It’s great. It’s gonna be hard but at the end of the 10 days you will have a lot of insights.

it’s very organized the way they set the schedule but you do have to meditate your ass off.

What substances are legal in Switzerland? Assuming those retreat centers use legal psychedelics.

Look on goenka's website, it's all over the world multiple times a year.

I did the Goenka 10 day and recommend it.  It is a reputable organization and probably the best way to start out with Vipassana.

The website has a world wide directory.

Inner Mastery was a cult. Just search online and you will find loads of testimonies.

The way they conducted the retreats was also considerably reckless. Offering multiple substances within a very limited timespan.

For example, offering Bufo in the morning right after Ayahuasca overnight, when the system still has some MAOIs active. Or rapé a few minutes before the ayahuasca. I have seen people pass out.

Keep in mind that if you pass out in such retreats the organizers will be very hesitant to call the emergency because the retreats were not legal, so your life is at risk.

Not many, if at all. The retreats I attended were not legal. That said, Switzerland has great legislation and support for psychedelic-assisted therapy and research.

Switzerland would be the OG country to do LSD in and feel free.
