What is the next level of our communication with Leo ?

Hi Leo, hope you’re doing well.

So, this forum celebrated its 10th anniversary not long ago, and you have 60k posts, which is very impressive (if it’s true).

You say your body of work consists of the videos on your YouTube channel, the blog, the book you’re currently working on, and the courses (although there is only one course up until now).

You post casually on the forum. You previously said that the forum is like a lounge bar for chitchatting with like-minded people, but it’s not really where the real work happens. And I agree. The real work should happen behind the scenes. Because, obviously, if you are active on here, then you are not doing that much work, because, well, you can’t be doing two things at the same time.

There have been a few people suggesting a fan meetup or meeting up with you in person. As always, you didn’t respond. The “psychedelic retreat” is still in the caterpillar phase. No real, tangible things have happened yet.

You banned the moderator Nahm, who is the only one here besides you who actually knows what he is talking about regarding spirituality, enlightenment, consciousness, etc.

And now, I feel like I’ve watched all these videos of yours, and I understand why I exist and what existence is to a certain extent. But I feel like there is a need to take an extra step, or take this to the next level.

So, I have an idea: we could basically just have Zoom meetings, private calls, paid, obviously.

And, by the way, this has to happen some way or another, because you can’t distance yourself from us forever. We are like a family. And I think you want to have a real community of people, not like Osho’s ashram and without worshipping you, but there has to be something beyond just an online forum.

I don’t know. I want to hear some basic thoughts from you about this idea.

no need for a yes or no. Just let’s entertain the possibility. Get the ball rolling. Have some discussion .

@Someone here my tea leaves tell me that @Leo Gura is conflicted on the issue. Some are gregarious types, some are not. It doesn't stop you though from getting the ball rolling with members and then inviting Leo along once things are established. Just a thought.

@LastThursday  Okay, cool. I think I’ve already explained myself in plain English, but let me clarify a few things.

First, I’m not suggesting that Leo and I should have a private conversation. I’m talking about hosting a Zoom meeting where essentially everyone in the community could participate. This has become the trend among online spiritual communities and teachers who teach ideas similar to Leo’s, so I don’t think it’s an unreasonable suggestion.

Second, I’m  NOT sorry about by my reference to the banned moderator. I know what happened, and I understand that Leo may be in a difficult position here. However, speaking honestly, I believe that person demonstrates a higher level of consciousness than Leo in certain respects, and his understanding of these subjects is more accurate. That’s my genuine assessment, whether people agree with it or not. 

But honestly, my main concern goes beyond any individual or the possibility of a Zoom meeting. I’m genuinely disappointed with the current quality of this forum. There’s so much low quality content, misinformation, and what I consider to be outright nonsense being discussed in this section. 

So, if we put the Zoom idea aside, my question is simple: Who am I supposed to learn from here?

I think a much more effective solution would be to invite more knowledgeable and genuinely qualified people in these fields to participate in the forum.

What saddens me most is that I keep coming across same people nonstop nonsense discussions day after day, while Leo seems to be doing very little to address the problem. 

I’m not saying any of this simply to criticize Leo or put anyone down. I’m saying it because I genuinely care about the quality of the discussions and the potential this community has. I mean we are talking about understanding the entire fucking world here .

Right now, though, I feel that the forum is falling well short of that potential, and that’s genuinely disappointing.

And so to put this more directly as clear question marks:

- can Leo host Zoom meetings with members of the forum ?

- it’s ridiculous to even think of bringing Nahm back, and everyone knows why . So , is it possible that Leo could invite some of his fellow peers or friends who are in charge of this field to participate in this forum in order to raise the quality of discussions?
