Well, I suppose Trump has been so blatanly corrupt that voters can't help but see it. So I guess that's good.

Trump loses his shit multiple times, and a reporter asks Trump if he'll endorse Vance for 2028 with Vance standing right behind him. Hilarious. 

What if this is just fascination + identity + seriousness being inflated into universal importance?
