Words are pointers - a word by any other name is still a word. The pointing can only extend outwards from the pointer, if you want to know what pointing is pointing to, keep follow the pointing outward to where this pointing ends.  Wherever there’s a pointer there’s pointing, but where does the pointer start and the pointing end? They don’t because they are 1 conjoined twin. 

Why does pointing point only outwards? … the same reason split milk cannot put itself back in it’s container.

Nothing contains infinity.

In case you haven't noticed human civilization didn't learn anything from history and any day now its going to be fascism on techroids on account of the culture already being fucked - solipsism need not enter into it.  Man is largely fucked in his head and his heart and the world around him is a perfect reflection of this.  To be hanging it on a word while ignoring the substandard material working with it is to not understand what the real problem is.

As for posting a video people should watch, this was once posted by @Mellowmarsh but for some reason the page it was on no longer exists. It deals with the subject of philosophies and convenient fictions in relationship to the absolute. I disregarded it as obvious when it was first posted but when I look back, like the podcasters, I can see that I wasn't always in the same boat and that it was due to a development (particularly my education in university, both due to the actual courses and the timing of when I took them, which fortunately helped me touch on those topics perhaps more directly than most). I remember I once refrained from talking about solipsism exactly because I knew that most people probably wouldn't have had that same development but at some point I just stopped caring much about that.

 

It also goes into the common pre-trans conflation that @AtmanIsBrahman likes to make about me: that because I like to be rigorous philosophically, I must not know what I'm talking about or I'm "stuck in rationality", ironically in response to a post where I'm calling out the limitations of rationality.

I could easily say that God is BS just because of the beliefs people have about it.

So have I.  Its a personal preference as I have clearly outlined.  Your personal preference is shaped by what you personally think the words are doing or not doing.  What you claim the word solipsism or even God to be doing or not doing does not align with reality and you will always lose a debate with reality.  

The reality is the word solipsism isn't actually spiritual cancer and ruinous decay.  Neither is the word God.  I can use an airplane to enhance life or bomb the fuck out of it.  Its all how the tool is being used.

And I would 100% agree that may be the case for some people if not most of them.  Anecdotal evidence only but 95% of all self proclaimed spiritual folk have their heads up their own asses.  That doesn't mean there's something wrong with the word solipsism it just means the mansters are failing on account of internal processing errors which makes it really difficult to navigate the field successfully.

There is no equity in the world of man because man is little more than an ape with primitive appetites and drives - man is a backwards vulgar hick with an insatiable appetite for conspicuous consumption and a deeply regressive status fetish.  That aint languages fault although to your point it can be used that way.  I just know where to assign the blame, if any.

It is to a degree. Once you meet God you can decide how you want to interpret it after the fact.  Awakening and integration are different things. You can misinterpret God. Or you can get God right.  But it will still be after the fact.

Theyll always be fresh and delicious.  The burgers I mean.

Infinite universes makes show about infinite universes.  What a totally infinite universes thing to do.  I may look into it.  

If theres no mcdonalds I dont want it.

Outside of some MLB and NFL I dont watch much of anything on television.  Only show I watch on the regular is the British Bake off show.  After that its mostly wholesome animal content on youtube because it helps me realize this world doesn't totally suck ass.

Im pulling for the Brewers this series.  In any other circumstance I would root for the team that has won fewer or never won any but neither franchise has a title.  Since Milwaukee has fewer world series appearances despite being decades older Id like to see their fans rewarded for their incredible amount of patience.

The last time the Brewers even made it to the World Series they were an American League team and the Tampa Bay Rays didn't exist so let grandad enjoy his beer for a change.
