I have two options.

Guys i have two options: either work a job and have money to make music as well as going out and having a social life. 
‎Or continuing on higher education for a couple of years before being able to live life. 
‎Which one should i choose ? 

‎I guess imma choose the first option, fuck it. I have deep needs for art and socializing. I can't just ignore them for 3 years while i study, imma take a couple of years off studying to pursue music and socialization, then i'll continue on higher education.

Having a job right now would give you a lot more flexibility and options. Also higher education is less safe than ever right now with the AI revolution happening.

If I were you I would be in the trenches being able to try stuff yourself, this will give you the most skill training and overall marketplace value. It's how I live my own life and as long as you have a safety net built to cover downside risk, it's the best way to live to gain competence.

It depends entirely on you, what you're studying, and whether you can realistically fund your music and social life with the kind of job you could get without higher education. Both paths are valid, and neither is final. You can always change direction if the one you choose isn't working.

There's a solid argument for getting a degree, working a high-paying job for a few years, and building up savings. That can give you the money and stability to fund your hobbies and make turning one of them into a career much more realistic than if you're scraping by on a low income.

That's roughly where I am now. I got a degree, worked for several years as a software engineer, and that gave me the financial stability to experiment with hobbies and side projects. It also gave me enough money to travel, live somewhere nice, and build a great social life. The business I'm working on now also requires reasonable capital to start, so it would have been much harder to bootstrap it without a solid job behind me.

If you're studying for something like engineering, law, medicine, or another credential-based, well-paid career, higher education can be a very good investment. If your degree is less likely to lead to a strong income, then skipping it and focusing on music becomes a much more appealing option.

Honestly, I think you have a better chance of changing that at university than outside of it. At least that’s the case here.

Does your school not have societies, parties, events etc. that would allow you to build up a solid social network?

Most of higher education is socializing anyway. You don't have to go crazy or expensive, just hangout with friends and go to normal places like cafés or sport events and meet new people.

You can also work part time waiter in a restaurant and socialize a little there.

I'd also sign up for learning a new language in an institute, which is a great place to meet new high quality people.

@something_else @Jirh I wouldn't bet losing my virginity on university, especially with no money at all. I did 2700 approaches still didn't got laid yet because of bad logistics, i am aiming to fix my logistics so that i can make pick up work and lose my virginity finally. 

I don't have enough energy to work and do higher education at the same time.

Are you just approaching people around campus? Or on the street?

That has an awful rate of success in general. You need to build a social circle, go to parties, join societies/clubs/organisations, make friends. That is what university is about, and never again in your life will you have the opportunity to build a social circle so easily.

Dude I have no experience with social circle. However, I've already made out with girls at the club a lot. I can see myself taking a girl to a hotel room after making out with her and sleeping with her there. That will work.

Stop viewing social circle as a distinct pickup skill, or as a tool to get laid. There is 'social circle game' and there is 'making friends and having a social life'. You want the latter.

Stop putting your energy into cold approach, if it's not working for you after 2500 approaches then it's not probably not going to work at all. Go make some new friends instead. It's pretty easy, especially in university.

Having a good group of friends significantly increases your self esteem and confidence. It makes you much more attractive. It exposes you to tons of cool new people (men and women) through parties and events. It will also just make you enjoy your life in university much more.

You want to be meeting people mostly organically instead of entirely through cold approach, I promise you it will work so much better for you.

@something_else Bro you seem to be misunderstanding the fact that as a 23 years old virgin, i need a strategy to get laid. I can't just make friends and hope to get laid somehow by making friends. Lmao, i'll have a group of 10 or 15 friends, how many attractive women will there be, and what are the chances i'll sleep with one of them, close to zero. You need massive action taking to change the situation, i can't just wait for hope, it won't work.

You should make a thread similar to @Olaf and make it your month long quest to get laid. I think 30 days should be enough to find a beautiful lady willing to share your bed.

Take my advice and get on dating apps and you should be able to schedule 5-6 dates in a month and one of them is pretty likely to be DTF.

Then make songs about getting laid like a lot of rappers do and profit.
