Tell your girlfriend about your absolute truth as an experiment.

I don't have a girlfriend lol.

Truth is your direct experience. All phenomena is Truth.

Like what I see with my eyes is truth? But it is all normal. Is normalcy truth?

Increase your consciousness with spiritual techniques, such as yoga.

I am going to an art show tonight and taking my medical psychedelics. There is a 99.9% chance that I will experience extra normal things.

I’d rather be normal, it’s safer, so I avoid doing the spiritual work, but deep down I know that normal is not good for me

Truth is simply the absence of falsity.

As sentience increases, an organism has the ability to better sort through the signals that establish awareness from non-awareness.

As sentience decreases, this ability to sort genuine awareness from lack thereof becomes increasingly more difficult and the organisms identity is mistaken as the self.

This changes from species to species, however the signal to awareness as we know it is largely the same despite different nervous systems leading to different nervous system built conclusions like humans inability to see in the dark compared to other species. Even if we are anthropomorphising a little, this has more than a little bit of awareness based on both more and less ethical experiments on other species like monkeys, pigs, rats, mice and sheep; with NeuraLink being the most famous example for the reader to find a link to.

Irrespectively, to me because truth can be viewed from  higher and lower orders of organisation, it is important to separate apparatus (primitive domain of nervous systems) from the truth from non-truth detection system, being awareness, when we're dealing with an abstraction like truth. Apparatus is instant, instinctual, sensory. As we move higher up, despite lower levels also doing similar computational functions that we don't get to see, awareness enables us to see those computations in real time when we are sorting out more accurate signals from false signals. Higher accuracy, is the very action of weeding out falsity both through convergent and divergent computational processes that are felt, thought, and self-aware; all three of which span from being immediate to deep, in the temporal to pure phenomenological sense.

It starts there and goes deeper.

Truth is not the only issue.

To be fair , my understanding of what is so called standard nonduality is primarily influenced by actualized.org, so maybe I'm taking some things for granted that a lot of practioners don't .
