Dating One Person At Once vs Multiple - Before Commitment

Yeah I've only seen the ones with Daniel Craig.

James Bond taught me that having an elite skillset, pulling baddies and saving the world is the best life purpose there is.

Are you serious? you have to check out Connery.  He is the real Bond. I grew up with Roger Moore, who i always thought fit the part until I watched some of Connery. But that was my dad because he told me to watch it.  Ok...Best Bond scene EVER, I'm gonna pull it up, give me a sec

If you've never taken psychedelics before the difference between theoretical awakening and a direct mystical experience is like reading about water in a novel vs being thrown in an arctic plunge.

It's the same thing, you don't need psychedelics to give you a mystical experience.

Nah, I had some 5-meo-dm5 last year. It was beyond anything that you can experience by just self-inquiry.

The only thing that is necessary is something to provide the shift in consciousness.  The shift is the same.

You have to look to how you are respected and listened to by real life people.  All this online stuff is just sus at best.

There really isn't a difference.  Not if its all consciousness.

Depends how you approach dating.

All my best, deepest and longest lasting relationships were with men who I was great friends with prior. I still love those men (even if not romantically) and speak to them regularly.

I approach it like friendship; I see one friend for coffee on a Tuesday, squeeze in an impromptu river walk with another Saturday morning etc. Whatever I can do to keep up connection and mutual care/fun. I just do the same with dating, as I firmly believe establishing a basic friendship is the fertile soil for a great relationship. I am slow to warm up, my feelings and attraction develop over time. I like to see men in different situations & experiences and how we both react separately, and then contrast this. I like to allow attraction to develop alongside knowledge of the person.

I don't necessarily think "You need to be friends first", more that a strong romantic relationship usually benefits from the qualities of a good friendship.

This method avoids some pitfalls I fell into when younger in less mature relationships - I get to prioritise liking the person before I idealise them and it assists me in observing character as attraction develops. I get to test compatibility through normal, ordinary life and I get to witness interactional patterns over time as opposed to isolated behaviour. When I was younger I was much more inclined to fall for my idea of a person's potential, or my own fantasy a life with them.

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

You seem like the perfect girl - I am not hitting on you I am just being honest.  You have it all.  Intelligence, kindness, and I'm sure the other stuff.  So I guess my question is why cant we find someone like you on the sites?  Because the pickings are terrible there.

From perfect. I can be a right little shit! Online is very different to real world - although I have met some great people online who were as they appeared.

All of these strategies and ways of being were hard earned, I had my trial by fire and made many, many mistakes along the way. I dare say you just see a better version of me now that I have grown. They say "beware wisdom that is unearned". My shit was earned. Through suffering - yes, but crazy resilience and self belief. I guess this process developed a deep sense of self trust and connection. So I remain clear in who I am and what I want.

I am very different in real life to how I might present online. I am not a very serious person :D

I know there are others out there like me, there just have to be! Finding them would be the difficult part. There is simply SO much less face to face interaction these days compared to when I was younger. That makes it hard.

I have no clue how to find someone like me. I have the same trouble from the other side of the yin/yang coin :D

Yeah, I know looking back I definitely gave up a few really good ones, so I can't say that I haven't had some luck, but i just blew it due to selfishness.  Yet, I am content now, this last one was so toxic that I am just happy to be by myself.  Oh and I have a new dog, a german shepard who is absolutely awesome!  So me and him have been spending a lot of time together this week.

Yes it is, and the one I gave you is not one of the strong Bond movies, but for some reason I just loved that scene.

But there are a lot of older Bond films that are really good.  But yeah i gotta go back and rewatch that one.

That was Connery's last appearance, the one I showed you.  After that it was Roger.

@LordFall I'm inclined to side with Miguel on this one. You describe social circle as this fulfilling, full life where you're surrounded with like minded people and meeting women along the way, except that it being fulfilling is totally subjective to the person.

I've done social circle game proactively in the past -- my version of it -- and found it quite tiring rather than fun.

Same with cold approach. For freakshows like myself, it was a totally worthwhile investment to spend years of our lives developing that skill at a high level, but clearly that's not something that most guys will be willing to do.

I'm also investing in social circle "game" right now, but it's more small scale. I'm participating in salsa classes, becoming a regular at certain weekly and biweekly events and just making friends with people. Naturally, because I have a very strong masculine presence, women who I meet through friends or within those events, naturally will start flirting with me on their own accord and then I can choose which one I want to invest in for a date.

But fishing in that pond is less abundant as I have a reputation to maintain, thus i couple that with some cold approach and dating apps and voilá, we got options.
