There is no way anybody is not calcium deficient if they don't chug milk w every meal

Who the fuck drinks three glasses of milk (750g) a day anyway? If you don't drink that amount of milk, you have to eat 400g of almonds (nobody does that), 150-200g of cheese (you fat pig), 780g of low fat sour cream (you drinking the stuff?), 1.5kg of spinach (you'll definitely get kidney stones) to hit 100% of RDA for a male my size. I only hit about 40% with a standard day's worth of food. How do you do it? Do you snort calcium-fortified soy?

Lol it's not possible to meet the RDA (without overeating or feeling like doodoo or eating supplements, at least). That's what you realize when you actually try to follow it.

I hit everything quite good except calcium. Calcium is a bitch. Consistently hovering around or below 40%.

I remember trace minerals like zinc were pretty annoying too. Anyways that's back when I was trying to go through those hoops. At least it made me pretty aware of what was in each food group.

I supplement zinc because it gives me ADHD drug powers without going to the doctor >:)

@Osaid You know what? Calcium RDAs are a conspiracy to force people to drink milk. There, I said it. Big Tit got their hands in the health organizations.

Big Tit and Big Oyster (for supraphysiological zinc gains)

Although Occam's Razor might say someone really stupid made the RDA  ̄\_(ツ)_/ ̄

im imagining the perfect RDA specimen with their strange diet of consuming copious amounts of seeds and oysters and it doesn't look pleasant

I had a phase where I consumed all sorts of touted supplements and nootropics and experientially I basically didn't notice anything. Not with zinc or vitamin D. The only thing that makes a difference for me is normal whole foods. That being said, caffeine doesn't seem to noticeably affect my energy either so maybe I'm a bad sample size.

Have you checked whether you have a pulse? No feeling = death.

Milk and oyster smoothie sounds like something Liver King would make.

I also don't drink milk because I've concluded that lactose is an unnecessary nutrient (we're all on the lactose intolerance spectrum), together with gluten. And I only can eat so much cheese or sour cream before I start losing culinary satisfaction points. The "gastronomic calculus" doesn't add up when I perturb my "intergalactose" intolerance. I've been watching too much Anthony Bourdain.

🤢🤖 Even though I haven't tasted any of them, both of them has existed as "fake food" in my head since I learned about them (not necessarily based on anything factual).

Such a naughty one, this one 😈

NGL I feel this is a result of the dairy industry's influence

Body builders... and a lot more than that...                  (though I would almost never take health advice from them, especially since health is not so often their concern anyway)

RIP my stomach.  I actually think 750g sounds very doable in comparison. Can and should I do that though? No, it's still too much dairy and straight up would not agree with me.

Greens that are supposedly low in oxalate but high in calcium: kale, bok choy, turnip greens, mustard greens, etc.

pros: much higher calcium absorption (like 40-50% vs. about 5%)     cons: might be bitter and not tasty, speaking as someone who was forced to eat lots of green leafy vegetables growing up lol.
