I can't seem to count on a lot of women who wish to be worshipped. That seems a bit odd to me. I have seen a lot of women who wish to be loved and that's quite different from wanting to be worshipped. A lot of women have very low self esteem so I don't know where you got the idea of self love. Men lack self love too. Men and women attract each other due to similarities and polarities, some social and biological conditioning and obvious sexual attraction.

You might want to look into Jung's idea of the anima/animus. The idea that we project our inner feminine ideal onto women as men and that this is why they have that higher energy you describe. Overtime that energy will get disproven to you, the woman is not as perfect as she seems, because what you're being pulled to is an illusion of sorts. The more intact the illusion the stronger the magical pull. The more you see her as an actual flawed person, truly, the less that magical divine pull will exist. However, there can be a different level of attraction that's built on true intimacy instead of idealization. But that's something that has to be carefully built within the relationship.

You’re looking at the surface.

Of course people struggle with self-love. Men and women both do. Humans are complicated.

I’m not talking about every individual woman. I’m talking about the deeper qualities people are drawn to, beauty, creation, connection, and mystery.

The problem is when you stop seeing it clearly and turn it into something you need to chase.

Jung had a point, but projection doesn’t mean it’s all fake.

Sometimes we see something in others because there really is something there.

Good point and I agree with you on that. But also consider why the typical spiritual master is celebate or downplays sexuality. It's not just because they are old and have no Testosterone left and they have been married for decades. Thats only part of it. 

It's also because there is too much emphasis on women and world in our materialist, shallow, debased, sex obsessed society. The parallels with food is very apt; our culture is obese on food and sexuality.
