Digging my brain for a good one triggered a memory in me

A girl back in high school once, I hadn’t talked to her so much before, she asked me “do you have anything that has been on your mind lately that you would wanna share?”

I thought it was very inviting of her to ask that (we were in a group, I was shy back then and she was kinda leading the convo and doing most of the talking)

It conveys curiosity, and it’s also a very open question so it gives them opportunity to chose to talk about something they’d like, while you get insight into their mind
