Yoga on a train?

7 posts in this topic

Hi

I plan to go to the nearest major city by train ride once every week to get enough pickup experience to get a girlfiend.

The communte there and back is 5-6 hours, during which I can definitely get in a lot of time for yoga.

My question is, is that worth it? It's definitely easier than doing it all at home tired after a day of walking, and great sages like Om Swami meditated effectively despite distractions.

I admire your commitment to learning game but do u think this plan is sustainable ? 5-7 hours is a lot r u planning on moving ? I'm in the suburb of a big city and I kinda even regret that bc the 30 minute drive to downtown kills momenum and spontaneity especîally. Imo the ideal game situation is step outside and meet girls that's what im shooting for after current lease.

to ur original q of course

Yes definitely sustainable

I'm only going out once per week to the big city. I also get enough sleep, I'm super energetic, and I can pass the time on the train doing stuff other than kriya yoga. I only have yoga for 1h hour and 45 mins so its much quicker than the whole ride.

Yes I am planning to move when I finish University to a major city to do game.

@Oppositionless maybe we should move in together and I can be your wingman ;)

@emil1234 How high quality is the practice though?

The train motion will reduce meditation quality, but is the meditation still worth it rather than doing it at home?

@Magnanimous You need to get out of the cushion meditation experience. For example, walking meditation is very common in Buddhist monasteries.

I love meditation on trains, vipassana, circulating energy through the spine, etc.

Requisites for meditation help but are not compulsory, reality, meditation, consciousness and experience have no ground, every breath is ultimate Reality in a particular form and state.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God
