For a lot of voters it is. See Brexit. People get upset when they have a sense that their borders are to loose and fluid. It makes them feel unsafe.

It's why it's such a safe strategy for politicians to be tough on migration currently. Center left politicians who personally don't mind migrants will happily tighten the reins for migrants because its what's best for their careers. See Sweden.

There's also a deeper divide between westerners and muslims in how religious god is given primacy which makes many westerners feel uneasy. It's not just ethnic.

@Basman Yes, in Australia we have a similar situation with the One Nation party overtaking polling results for the next federal election. 

The main driver is immigration. Australians are leaning against it.

Traditionally Australia has been a swing between labour (our left wing) to liberal (right/conservative). One Nation is far, far right wing.

I would remain staunch. And push for balance. I am very, very privileged to be born and living in Melbourne, Australia. It is worth fighting for.

I'm going to vote for Marine Le Pen in 2027. There's been so much immigration in some cities that you could talk about ethnic replacement, and most of the crimes are committed by non-whites. On an individual level most of these people are still normal and thankfully so, but the disproportionate numbers mean that if you look at the news, the anecdotes around you, or if you visit a prison as I myself did (ethnic statistics are prohibited in France), most of the people involved are Arab or Black.
 

I'm a schizoid loner lol and I still have a friend (also Arab btw) who got beaten up in the street and kicked in the head by a group of Arabs for some stupid reason. Between that and all the other news stories I've seen without even paying attention, I can't even imagine what's going on.

Leftists who pretend not to see the nuances and are content to call those who show this “racist” it’s dumb it’s the ego.

I meant both on the first question. I like your view on the last one. In Europe, people would fight for their country and safety, but the system feels too corrupt for most to trust or change much. Not sure how it is in Australia when it comes to trust in politicians and the system.

Whats the strongest paper or papers you can point to that shows that those crimes that you point to mainly has to do with having a different ethnicity and not with other variables ? 

Also why is ethnic replacement is fundamentally wrong/bad under your view?

I've been thinking of voting some natchuddie party just to piss on all the wokes. Since they're not really actually fashies I don't think (that word has to be one of the most devalued words in history), and I don't really think they'd do much harm either, in terms of aggression towards neighbouring countries - nor would they posses any power to do so. Not sure what they'd do about the muslim/ethnic illegal immigrants (or the ones already living in Europe), that's the kind of problem that was supposed to be prevented prior to 2015. Trying some radical measures now would be painfull, granted, they can prevent new waves of them from arriving. In terms of economy and politics though, those are the domains of the actual needle movers (US and China). I've noticed wokes try to larp as the ones with actual practical solutions, but I don't really see how that's the case, it's pure gaslighting

It's atavistic.
This also means that locals are no longer having enough children; so perhaps they lack the money, have too many mental health issues etc. Generally demographics follow the evolution of economic growth.
