For some reason I missed the match lol I thought it would be boring and I was looking forward for the final :D

It wasn’t boring . Spain played very well Tiki-Taka. And the last minutes were full of suspense.

No goals, no game.

Spain prefers control over open spaces. They don't let you breathe, but they don't score a lot either. The most boring recipe for sports. Very mechanical.

Argentina tried to be tough but man there was no level to the match whatsoever . The stats speak for themselves.the Spanish players have way better quality than Argentina players.
This is why I thought in the past that Messi should’ve retired from international football right after the World Cup 2022 so that the last scene would be of winning instead of losing .

Completely agree with that, I'm no great fan of Argentina with all their cynicism but I can't really warm to Spain either, with the way they play. They manage to be both very impressive and yet somehow also completely forgettable, imo.

Meh they were literally like 15 minutes away from a chance at winning it in penalties.

Quite miraculously that it took that long for Spain to score but Messi was 15 minutes and a penalty shootout away from another World Cup trophy.

I find sports so boring, I need to bet money on it to care. I used to play soccer as a kid and even then I found it boring but my dad forced me for a while.

What do you guys like about it? I think the the cultural aspect that it brings people together is cool and it seems to bring up country solidarity(as well as some nasty nationalism as well though.) 

I didn't know this but Argentinians are apparently often quite racist and right after they lost one of their players assaulted a spanish player. I always wanted to go unlucky.

Holy shit, did you see this, 10 goals in the Bronze match between France and England !

Man, in an alternative reality, this was a great final :D
