FIFA World Cup 2026 thread

the biggest football event and perhaps the biggest event of all sports in the world is about to get underway. Super excited 🥳

It will be hosted by three countries..Canada ..Mexico and USA. The first game or the opening is in 11/6/2026 .
 This is the biggest World Cup ever played with 48 teams competing . Also the ball which will be used in it is going to be assisted with AI to create more skillful plays and create more high quality football.  
this is going to be definitely the last World Cup for Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo who is obviously going to be watched for every single touch he touches on the pitch in hopes to lift the cup at the final and win.

 If  Ronnie wins the WC2026 there is some serious database damage gonna happen in the internet. 
But football is 11 vs 11..there is no such thing as Ronaldo winning wc..it has to be Portugal winning .and why would Portugal win ?  France is way better..Argentina is way better ..Brazil is way better ..etc  Also I don’t expect Portugal winning because the pressure on Ronaldo is insane . Imagine the whole planet carefully looking 👀 at every single touch of the ball.

I love and respect my Arab brothers but come on ..no Arabic country is going to ever lift the WC. It didn’t happen during Pele’s era and black and white TV when the football was played in a  hectic way ..and you expect it to happen after football became so technical and almost like a science? Morocco reached the semi final In the last WC  because of some miracle. Spain and Portugal deserved to knock them out but Morocco won unexpectedly . Then in the semi finals France put them in their place .

Morocco isn't an Arabic country.

and nah, there is a first time for everything. Morocco just one Arab cup, AFCON and is ranked 7th in the fifa ranking. they've been smashing it. it wasn't a miracle or luck.

I doubt that, especially since they changed coach. Argentina and England are stronger contenders, imo.
