Why Do So Many 13-Year-Old Girls Look 18 Today?

28 posts in this topic

Has anyone else noticed that a lot of 13-year-olds today look 15, 18, or even older?

Seriously. Is it the makeup? Genetics? Better nutrition? Social media? Whatever it is, something has clearly changed.

When I was younger, you could usually tell the difference between a child and an adult from across the street. Now? Not always. The lines are getting blurrier every year.

Just an observation. Feel free to disagree.

Is because you wish that way so you feel that flirting with then will not bring you trouble but will. Why do one even care about this? Pedo Vibes in this question. Hehe

Because of pornofication and objectification. Today, kids have easier access to explicit content, even if not directly, then indirectly through certain trends and people presenting themselves in highly appearance-focused ways on social media. Young girls internalize this, which is unfortunate because it can train them to see themselves primarily through the lens of appearance before their minds and character have fully developed.

I feel sorry for them because of the childhood experiences they may miss, and because they may struggle to simply exist in their bodies without constantly monitoring how they are perceived by others. This can also, unfortunately, make them more vulnerable to predators.

Just because you have these psychic powers and abilities, it doesn't mean you're any less of a human than anyone else. There are people who are fast, people who are book smart and people with strong body odor. Psychic powers are just like that. -Reigen, Mob Psycho 100

Young girls are hypersexualized, while adult women are infantilized in ways that encourage them to resemble hypersexualized young girls.

Who exactly does this serve?

Spoiler

Pedophiles, of course!

Because you are God realized and want to impregnate a 13 year old. (Mary, Jesus's mom, was about 13  when God impregnated her for those who don't get the joke)

Because girls go through puberty earlier now than in the past, likely because of plastic releasing phthalates in the water supply which when ingested by humans can imitate female hormones.

(School yearbooks)

My cousin is 13, and when I met the girls from his class, they looked much older

Simply makeup sometimes, style, and not knowing age of those people you wrote that "you saw across the street" when you were young, so that comparison isn't accurate

You’re missing the point.

I’m not claiming I knew everyone’s exact age from across the street. I’m saying that the visual distinction between a young teenager and an older teenager appears less obvious today than it once did.

Because they are infidels and don't follow Sharia law?

I’m not complaining. I actually think it’s fine that girls show a lot of skin. But parents need to understand that other people may see their daughters as sexual objects, and some dangerous individuals may view them as potential targets for sexual violence.
