By the way..yes you experience Infinity.  Yes you experience Love, yes you experience Consciousness.. yes you experience God..you experience them because you ARE them!  You are being them right now in fact.   If a human feels emotion than God feels emotions.  When a human cries God cries.   We tend to want to limit our existential definitions to shy away from the human experience.  Yet God is the human experience.

What a bullshit. Fucking storytelling.

IMO Love includes emotion (or feeling) and Relation.  To say emotions are not part of Love is analogous to saying thoughts are not part of Truth.

But it isn't something I can necessarily pinpoint or pin down to any one particular thing.

Linear thinking and logic can't even begin to grasp it but Im not telling you anything you don't already know.

To quote the movie The Matrix - "Im going to let you in on a little secret.  Being the One is just like being in love.  No one can tell you you're in love, you just know it.  Through and through, balls to bone".

Although I suppose for this example it would be 'no one can tell you you're love, you just know it.'  Its just another example of what can be passed on through language and what can't.

The angle from which this issue is being approached is wrong. It's not about defining reality as love, but about understanding what we call love.

Love is what it means to be alive without barriers. And being alive means being, but in a dual state.

Normally, when we talk about love, we refer to the feeling between two beings or realities, which excludes everything that isn't them. This is because we close off our reality in order to survive. We block out everything that is negative for survival, but we open our perceptual field on certain occasions: children, partners, art, etc.

Love isn't something special; it's reality without barriers, the unity of being without limits. It's being without closing ourselves off. Being human, closing ourselves off is inevitable. Enlightenment is achieving total openness at certain times. Then you realize that what you are in essence is unlimited being, and what that being implies. Implies everything, and you could call it unlimited love, or call love the fact of being

If Truth is Masculine, Love is the Feminine supplement to Truth.  But you can't really attain Love until you've attained Truth.

Absolute / Being / Truth

But see this radically redefines the word love.   Why still use the word if the metaphysical definition is now so different from the definition of "relative" love.  Don't you see the issue here?  Ralston wants us to take a look at this more closely and wonder if your statement that God is love isn't just something you took as a belief from some other guru a thousand years ago.  Because notice the definition of existential love is radically different- almost removing the very attributes that made the word love love in the first place.  We must be very careful here.

It sounds like Ralston is completely wrong and is denying any sense of reality being love

He isn't just playing semantics to avoid confusion his understanding of Truth and Reality are corrupted

@Inliytened1 i used to have existential ocd my body would go into fight or flight and I would start running from death. I was insane.

I would have a thought of death and my entire body would panic.

I would he sitting in the room with the family and suddenly I would get up and run outside. I couldn't tell them what was happening.

Panic = death and ego freaking out.

Panic attack is a human seeing God.

The ability to still unconditionally love everyone despite their flaws in this dimension, is proving to yourself that you will always love every part of you. Love is the recognition of oneness in a world of duality.Every part of you, the good, the bad, the ugly, the corrupt, the wrong doer, the do gooder, the serial killer, the psychopath, the empath, the cheater, the liar, etc etc..are all the perfect expression of oneness unconditional love.
