I thought most people on this forum believed the Jesus character was just a myth.

Even the myth is cherrypicked and not fully told. We are just pointing to the full myth.

When Jesus was a child he had a mean temper and is said to have cursed another child in anger and soon that child died.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Aha, I see it's from the Infancy Gospel of Thomas. Misuse of powers before enlightenment. One boy jumped into him, he cursed him and he died on the spot. And he pushed another boy off a roof. In some versions he brought both them boys back to life. Moral of the story, dont fuck with Jesus.

Moral of the story: Jesus was a mean asshole, not some Christian saint.

Come on Leo, he was a child. Even saints take time to develop.

Really, he actually killed a child lol ? I thought most people on this forum believed the Jesus character was just a myth. Now he's killing children, thats rich.

Who wrote the book about Jesus' childhood, love to hear the epistemology on that one.

Gospel of Thomas. Killed a kid that bumped into him. When the child's parents complained about it to Joseph and Joseph yelled at Jesus, he blinded the kid's parents.

Quote

I This little child Jesus when he was five years old was playing at the ford of a brook: and he gathered together the waters that flowed there into pools, and made them straightway clean, and commanded them by his word alone.

III But the son of Annas the scribe was standing there with Joseph; and he took a branch of a willow and dispersed the waters which Jesus had gathered together. 2 And when Jesus saw what was done, he was wroth and said unto him: O evil, ungodly, and foolish one, what hurt did the pools and the waters do thee? behold, now also thou shalt be withered like a tree, and shalt not bear leaves, neither root, nor fruit. 3 And straightway that lad withered up wholly, but Jesus departed and went unto Joseph's house. But the parents of him that was withered took him up, bewailing his youth, and brought him to Joseph, and accused him 'for that thou hast such a child which doeth such deeds.'

IV. 1 After that again he went through the village, and a child ran and dashed against his shoulder. And Jesus was provoked and said unto him: Thou shalt not finish thy course (lit. go all thy way). And immediately he fell down and died. But certain when they saw what was done said: Whence was this young child born, for that every word of his is an accomplished work? And the parents of him that was dead came unto Joseph, and blamed him, saying: Thou that hast such a child canst not dwell with us in the village: or do thou teach him to bless and not to curse: for he slayeth our children.

V. 1 And Joseph called the young child apart and admonished him, saying: Wherefore doest thou such things, that these suffer and hate us and persecute us? But Jesus said: I know that these thy words are not thine: nevertheless for thy sake I will hold my peace: but they shall bear their punishment. And straightway they that accused him were smitten with blindness.

Officially not canon according the church for obvious reasons.

The old testament has even more crazy stories. There's one where a two bears maul to death 42 children for making fun of a priest for being bald.

Quote

23 Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up by the way, young lads came out from the city and mocked him and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead; go up, you baldhead!”

24 When he looked behind him and saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD. Then two female bears came out of the woods and tore up forty-two lads of their number.

Jesus got his asshole temper from someone, clearly.

The 114 mystical sayings of Jesus is the real reason the Gospel of Thomas was left out of the bible.

MJ is increasingly becoming a tainted name I think. I'm taking back my golden cow statement.

Making that movie and getting eyes back on him reignites the allegation and it's getting increasingly hard to pretend he's not a pedo.
