That's not really his problem though.  His problem is he slyly admits to being a predator and then feels the need to explain to explain that away instead of just owning it and pleading for mercy.

He is Green in many respects, at least performatively.

But this specific incident is a classic example of Red to Blue.

That doesn't mean he isn't also Green in many other ways. Obviously he is not just standard Blue. But he has backslid in defending his Red old self.

It is hard to defend the actions of one's Red self from 25 years ago. Requires a lot of mental gymnastics.
