Because you guys are too blindly leftist here.

I am balancing you out.

Notice that as soon as I push back on leftism, leftists get upset and confused, not knowing how to react.

Look this guy balancing out. Calling people who see shit and calling them Social Justice Warriors. When the systemic causes are not understood, we end up like this blaming the people in the bottom blind to what crate such a economic Gaps. And in this case is one white man not from Portugal, not his country, harrasing a woman suposely in difficult financial contitions a collection of Whiteness,Colonialist Mindset and  Misogyny at same time. How is this balanced??

I feel like we'd all be cooler and just know how to treat eachother if we didn't react to our thoughts like hippos chasing rabbits.

I think people are all over the place with philosophy and politics because theyre confused.

The answer is that conservative and liberal are right at different times. What you say today may be wrong tomorrow. What is right, right now, may be incorrect later.

Being caught on views misses the picture.

We're all arguing when the problem is very much rooted in not being still, being traumatized, and having an opinion about everything.

Nuance in dealing with people. That's why there are books like the however many laws of power, or never split the difference, because of how wild the court of people are when everyone is dealing with some form of delusion, we have to be skillful in how we communicate. Lest there be consequences or outcomes we dont really want.

So tricky too when we actually have to build things, someone has to be a leader in any given undertaking, and there are complex things being done.

But the power of being still, having genuine release, and cultivating awareness I think solves a lot of clarity issues. It can be helpful to step away from trying to affect change in the world for awhile while things in the mind settle, and the light of awareness is more clear.

Not knowing who you're dealing with is a key component here.  Few people here have met anyone face to face also on here.  That's a factor to appreciate.

How would you explain that Portugal have people from África living in Portugal because Portugal was slave trading for ages. Look to all the videos this idiot go filmong and I dont even know how the justice still dont chase him.

It is always the damn extremists sociopaths that get all the attention. They're annoyingly unserious.

But obviously worse is to go offering cocaine and weed to random people on streets. I don't like that him is lashing out like a teen but he does it because his audience rewards it.

If you don't see that taking space in the public streets selling shirts and glasses is a problem then you have a bit of a bias there. And I am not even talking about the scammers. But this goes unaddressed and that is a problem too.

Then you make room for racists to speak nonsense. Although public vendors are as annoying, they don't care what you're doing and they will compromise you for their bs.

And also, those public vendors are not always immigrants. In fact is part of the culture of the place (Lisbon in this case). They don't mind having drug dealers selling in front of your kids.

True about vendors not being immigrants. They are Gypsies, they use to sell in Markets cheap stuff, hats, clothes, perfumes e etc.. they have their own lifes and sometimes some crime involved but in general I always had good relations with them. And overall is a service for the cops and Government to deal with what is going on in the streets, not guys like this Entitled German bully people in the places he turist.

I agree with this.

And you have to take each person individually, with their traumas, conditioning, level of consciousness, how many books they have read and what ideologies they have been exposed to, their IQ, their EQ, their unique personal desires etc.

For example, as a woman, you don't want to use those sweet-sounding feminine stereotypes like "I am nurturing, empathetic and emotional" as an egoic shield to hide and avoid unpacking any Machiavellian, dark triad, manipulative, sadistic, dogmatic, self righteous, competitive, stoic, self deceptive, intrusive OCD thoughts, blood thirsty, elitist, hierarchal, dissociative, fawning-CPTSD-responses, trauma-responses, or psychopathic traits.

This happens a lot with Conservative women. They really cling to the sweet-sounding-female stereotypes but often have hidden sadistic, dark triad traits. Hollywood noticed this dynamic and has made countless TV shows and movies exploring this.

A woman can have a desire to punch someone in the face, while simultaneously be holding a baby in her arms. The psyche is very complex.

And then with Liberal women, they may run away from anything that sounds like a sweet-sounding-female stereotype, even if that stereotype actually genuinely fits her authentic self.

This can also show up in distorted, twisted ways. For example, a woman who secretly wants to wear makeup and a dress may hate on or gossip about fashionable, stylish women.

@Brittany The way we process our next action is remarkably quick. The symbolic language of the unconscious has a powerful hold over our clarity. That is why I advocate for dissolve work - spending time working a feedback loop that is neutral and somatic and not based in imagination or concepts. Over time, the overarching subliminal and lightning fast conditioning which shapes us becomes seen as separate from the awareness. The realization that follows is that there is space between the awareness and our assumptions. Liberation in my opinion, exists in this process of letting go and enjoying. I am, and we all are, operating with this lightning fast aggregation of subliminal conditioning. So it is difficult to judge it in others, when you see how hard it is to realize and stay aware of this for ones self. But when youre here from time to time, then the issue becomes clear. False identification of Self within thoughts ideas and beliefs, and tension in the awareness, and a few other components, cause a lot of problems which would work themselves out without complex philosophy or jungian psychoanalytics, by practicing this way.

Yes, absolutely.

It is great when we are able to use language to point to and explore a neurotic pattern in the psyche.

But language isn't the only tool that can be used.

Just because you have these psychic powers and abilities, it doesn't mean you're any less of a human than anyone else. There are people who are fast, people who are book smart and people with strong body odor. Psychic powers are just like that. -Reigen, Mob Psycho 100
