OMG!! Fields are nothing!!

After years of thinking about what is the ultimate substance of the universe, I finally had this insight that everything necessarily has to be nothing... And it was thanks to the quantum field theory that suggests that fields are the most fundamental or simplest structure of existence which is crazy because if it is so, they must "remain in the nothing". You can't even imagine a "something" substance that is fundamental unless it remains in the nothing, unless it is nothing. If this ultimate substance (let's say X) is something, it is forced to be made out of anything more fundamental, therefore, X cannot be a fundamental substance.

It applies for strings, space, fields or even consciousness. Anything that you can think is the more fundamental thing.

For me, nothing is the most fundamental "thing".

I love this insight but at the same time it feeds my nihilism and my sadness.

That nothing IS Consciousness.

It makes you sad because you have an idea of it, you aren't yet conscious that it is Infinity/God.

Your concept of nothing is not it. You need Awakening.

But Infinity/God is a field, yes.

Though I have had great insights with 5meo, like oneness and ego annihilation, I still don't feel that I have had an awakening. I am patient but persistent. I hope one day I can have such realizations.

From my understanding, non existence is somehow the prerequisite for all of existence. There can't be a substance without the nothing. You can't reach the ultimate substance without thinking in the nothing. I think that's why many say everything = nothing.

Physicists say "strings aren't made out of anything... Fields aren't made out of anything... These things are fundamental, there is nothing beyond that". Mystics say "reality is void... Reality is nothing" nothing is somehow necessary for existence. 

Limits always contradict themselves. Set theory paradoxes, for instance.

What you think of as non-existence is Absolute Pure Empty Existence/Infinity.

Here's a good way to grasp 'something = nothing'. When one is dreaming, everything in that dream seems 100% real, yes? But what is the substance of that reality? It's Consciousness/Mind. Which is nothing. The substance of a dream is nothing. Nonduality, something and nothing are the same thing. 

Another way of looking at it, is really is there is no such thing as 'nothing'. God is everything, the only thing there is. There cannot be anything outside of God. God is Consciousness. God is infinite. There is only God, for eternity. So there can't be a 'nothing', as nothing would be outside of God.

When I am on a deep sleep, nothing appears but I know it happened when I wake up.

I know I was there.

Existence is the only thing that can exist. Existence is. Everything ok so far...

Then you're saying that when you see what's behind the curtains of existence, is there nothing? Like there's nothing beyond existence?

When I'm high, all the sounds are contingent and appear in the silence, it's crystal clear. I think you mean that.

close your eyes and look at it. Thats what meditation is, you are looking at nothing. Trying to have an aha moment that you are looking at something.

The aha moment come when you realize that you are looking at an object. Its a thing.

You can walk around in your house and close your eyes and you are looking at an object. You can go to work and blink and you are looking at the same object that hasnt moved from when you were at home vs when you are at work.

@MixcoatlThat field is deep sleep, when you go to sleep you just focus your awareness on it and become it. The field of deep sleep is here right now while you are awake. Thats dead you. 

The universe is subjective and its just the field become aware that its there. Over and over again until you become it. Then you become everything. Because the subjective null of every being is where we unify. In the field of infinity.

You arent actually 'sleeping' thats just a word for merging with the field, or the object of 'nothing'. That exists.

Meditation is becoming the field 'non reactive' towards yourself as the field. (dead inside) while you are aware. The field saves you from non existence and its God.

Its where you were before you were 'born' and its a real place that exists.

Deep sleep and death are the same nothingness.

Awakening or waking up from the nothingness means you never actually die or sleep, because you are able to always awaken from the nothingness. 

You can know you are awake. But you cannot know you are asleep or dead. You can only awaken from death and sleep in awake conscious state, upon awakening.  

You can only be aware of being aware. As Awareness you can’t disappear in sleep or death, if you could you wouldn’t be able to wake up from sleep or death. You wake up because awareness can’t die or sleep or disappear. Awareness is always here and never not here. Awareness can never know its not here, it can only know its here. And here it is, it’s you.
