Kundalini Awakening. What's your experience on it?

20 posts in this topic

I did awaken my during an Ayahuasca ceremony not so long ago(I did not go with this intention),what a blessing tbh. The energy keeps you present, and boost spiritual growth and improves your overall practice. For me the energy is hot, and intense, but not overwhelming, stating at the base of the spine and flowing upwards. I now have it with me while I meditate. I don't need to do any kundalini yoga, just very simple meditation like staying present and focusing on the moment.

For those that did awaken kundalini like me, what's your relationship with it?

Can you activate on every sadhana session?

Do you need need specific sadhana to activate it, or you can do a simple meditation and the energy starts rising and moving through your body?

And of course, how does it feel like for you? Hot intense energy? More like Electricity or waves of energy? Does your body shake and vibrate while experiencing Kundalini energy?

Please share your experience with it:)

Mine awakened two years ago and it was quite intense. I don’t want to go too much in depth right now but I still have spontaneous mudras everyday even in moments I’m not meditating. Some kriyas also occur from time to time. I’ve been taking depakote and Abilify in the past 2 years along with other medications but Ive came off them. If shit get too intense, dont be reluctant to see a doctor. Medication really helps to keep you grounded.

If you wanna hear more, you can read my post history.

All I have to do is visualize it and it starts . Or do (partial) kechari mudra. It's an electric current in my spine and brain, very blissful . Haven't had the "full release" experience in a few months , maybe cause I'm not tripping currently, but that's fine, the full release was accompanied by a lot of terror to be honest, when the sober ego deaths started happening I knew it was time to pump the brakes. Kinda seems like Leo's recent blog post was directed at ppl like me.

Edit : I remember thinking I needed to stop kriya yoga to get the kundalini symptoms to relax, that wasn't true. I just needed to stop taking psychedelics.

No stay away from that shit.  I got kundalini syndrome and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

The first few years were incredibly blissful. I meditated almost all day because it felt so good, but I was barely functional and neglected many things. Then, for a few years, it was very physical: many strange body movements, couldn't sit still, and slept terribly. After that, the energy calmed down and became more steady and for about a year, I had spontaneous awakenings almost daily, again not very functional, but ecstatic and beautiful.

After that, it all kind of disappeared, and I felt like I had just imagined all of it. Over the next three to four years, it gradually became darker and darker, and it felt like I had lost everything until I was forced to let go of everything and surrender to the void. Since then, my mind has slowly become clearer and calmer, and a peaceful stillness pervades everything.

I think the most important thing is to practice patience and trust the process. It took me a long time to learn that to some extent, and now I try to stay out of it as much as possible. For the longest time, I just wanted to reach the "end" of the process and be "done." That was probably the biggest "mistake." Accept what is and simply follow the path.

If you're having spontaneous movements and they're not stopping see if you can have someone cup their hand and slap your Yao, all the fascial webbing that is on the lower region of the back.

This can help disrupt spontaneous movements while in public or when not needed.

I've heard that many people mis-attribute kundalini awakening for electrical energy moving up the spine. It's a very rare phenomena which has become a buzz word.

Most of what people experience is Zifa Gong. When energy moves through the body and meets resistance it causes spontaneous movements. These movements are interpreted in a lot of ways, but it is just energy pushing through blocked channels.

It is advisable to spend many years developing the body to be able to act as a capacitor for divine energy, otherwise one can burn up and take on great illness.

full kundalini awakening is when spirituality stop being fun and games. if you're pushing for this, make sure you know what you're getting yourself into. theres no going back and it can be extremely overwhelming if you are not prepared

@decentralized Was it worth it so far? Do you regret to awaken your kundalini?

Of course it was worth it and I don’t regret it. However I wish I was more cautious before going into this.

Kundalini yoga is quite violent, it's about awakening kundalini and asking questions later. Kriya yoga is relatively gentle, it's about purifying the chakras which indirectly leads to kundalini rising, on its own.

Nice, kinda like me, I mostly just need to close my eyes and feel the spine and it starts. It feels blissful, maybe because it isn't the full release or it was very recent event? Dunno

I am not pursuing kundalini per say. I am pursuing awakening. My kundalini awakening was a side effect.

Yeah I think this is what happened to me on the trip. I shaked like crazy in the lower chackas especially. But my whole body shaked and vibrated like crazy -- it must have been the cleaning process; as a result  of that I got the kundalini thing lmao. Def wasn't looking for it though.

@Eskilon full kundalini awakening (energy rising through the chakras out the crown) + the following integration of trauma releases seem to be an extraordinarily efficient method for awakening, im going through one right now. however as mentioned, treat with care

but its pretty epic
