How to deal with people with diferent opinions of me?

13 posts in this topic

Sometimes I see people with worldviews so stupid ( at least from my perspective), this makes me kind of angry . I thinks most people go through this at some extent. For example: Today I watched some reels on instagram saying that gender is 100% a social construct, this left me in some bad mood for something around 20 min, then I forgot about it and I just did go about my day. Do you guys go through this kind stuff too ( I'm not talking necessarily about this gender stuff)? How to deal with this?

Realize that those reactions are putting you in karmic loops. So if you get angry at it it will come back.

Then realize you are in sort of a simulation thats meant to trigger you into karmic loops.

Interesting, could you expand more on " karmic loop" please ?

@Tudo Reactions to things make them come back.

If you have a nightmare and a witch comes and scares you the witch will come back. If you say im not scared of you I won't react the witch goes away. Same for real life cause real life is a dream.

If you stopped reacting to life totally you would literally dissapear into a void and 'wake up' .

There's no solution other than sitting with it and burning imo.

Either you distance yourself from the world and live in the woods. Or you participate in the madness. Like the proverb says: "if you can't handle the heat, don't go to the kitchen"

If you learn to harness the fire, you can use it for good means and make nice dishes, or you can be a bad cook and burn the kitchen down.

Nothing can make you angry. You want to be angry. It's a deliberate choice. For most it's default. If you want change, you will investigate what inside you is angry and is thus projected. Sounds from your post that you have some expectation the world needs to think like you do. Your opinions may work for you; another's opinions may work for them. The world needs no changing. It is where it has to be. It is like your child perhaps that hasn't grown up.

One of the reasons get angry is because I feel like they don't respect my opinion and that eventually they will impose their worldview on me.

Yeah, unless we decide to live in woods alone we have to deal with this, there is no way around.

Your sense of self is so fragile that some passer-by can trample on it and change who you think you are?

Its not really possible to be in an energy of frustration and curiosity simultaneously. Get curious about how these people reached their conclusions. Get curious about your frustration with their opinions. Its a subtle shift from frustration/resistance to curiosity, but it can work wonders.

Yeah, my sense of self can be fragile. I'm trying to work on it.

I kind of understand how they came with their conclusions but it still let me frustated.
