2 ears wiide open, hook me up with the good stuff

You seem just as I was at your age.  A selfish prick.  Thats good. That's excellent.  But what are your goals now and what are your aspirations? I cannot guide you properly without knowing a little about you.

High freedom would mean you are responsible for other's freedoms. And the taking away of that freedom. So the question is - would you take another's freedom to preserve your own?

depends on who is being more responsible with their freedoms, whichever will lead to a more responsible freedom overall i would preserve theirs's(ideally)

That wasnt the question.  Would you kill another to preserve your own survival? The answer must always be yes.  Despite the consequences.   Because if you say no you are dead. But if you say yes, you have to still live with that after.

What kind of response is this?

A realistic one.

In addition - my response is from the frame of why an enlightened person would not force something on another.

@Kokorec What prompted this question?

It might help others understand your frame better - particularly what you mean by 'free'.

I can see replies in this thread coming at you in a loaded way due to the nebulous terminology of that word :)

That's not enlightenment

Your asking questions from a position of misunderstanding which will only lead to further misunderstanding

I actually was in a 10day vipassana retreat which didn't do much accept a light aftertaste but I will give alone boredom in the woods a week to see if it works.
gonna send a signal out if i do find the inner temple

Often going to "spiritual retreats" Is still ego evading/escaping itself. Follow your natural being, do what "feels" right in each moment, listen and tune into your body and soul and feel what you need to feel, that will guide you better than any teacher, guru or retreat. Practice the art of letting things go and surrendering to what is and whats in front of you, the sooner you make peace with it, the sooner it transforms into a more unified experience.

Hehe :P

I am but a reflection... a mirror... of you... of me... in a cosmic dance ~ of a unified mystery...

Without free will infinity wouldnt be really infinite.

You can help people, but if they dont want to be helped there is nothing to do about it.

Yes if people had free will since we come from the same source we would all be doing the same thing. Without free will we are forced to do things. It would be like an Ai that ends up doing the same thing everytime. Since we all dont walk into the same corner it must be we dont have free will.

To save yourself means you save everyone. Even a Trump will seem understandable, fine and necessary. If you still are triggered by him, you have more work. Forgive yourself. One step at a time.
