If this seems strange to you, it’s probably because you are still too attached to your ego… but also here the word “soul” in the title I’m not very sure is appropriate

It has too. Now or later. Thats what infinity means, it dosent end ever. Even if you just want to live the same life 1 million times you will still live the other ones, now or later.

Imagine you have a harddrive with infinite games. You can play skyrim for 1 million years and the game where you fall into a meat grinder is there. You really dont want to play it infinite time passes and you see that game still sitting there, it starts to haunt you and starts to ruin your experience of skyrim.

I wouldn't take it too literally.

Infinity is all things, but it doesn't necessarily unfold in a simplistic linear series of lifetimes.

The broader point here was to communicate how limited your mind is by only thinking within your personal lifetime of experience. You need to be thinking much more broadly, as if you were going to be all people.

It's sort of like John Rawls' Original Position thought experiment.

But since it's infinite, how can you not able to skip the bad ones so to speak? I could always choose a better one out of infinity possibilities, why should I want to experience falling into a meat grinder, I can already imagine it very vividly, every centimeter of pain and horror, but I prefer better lifetimes... Of course, as an afraid human right now I say that. Maybe out of curiosity I could want to have the full experience because only imagining it vividly is not the same as it being a reality, a reality would be much richer experience. Now it's where love for experiencing enters, isn't it? I can sense sometimes.

1) There is no bad from God's POV. So no reason to skip anything.

2) Obviously you see many people suffering in the world. So clearly God is not skipping the "bad" stuff out of squeamishness.

Why didn't God skip the Holocaust or Gaza?

Why didn't God skip the suffering in your own life?

Obviously God finds some value in it.

@Vibes You can skip as much as you want its still infinity. It dosent end infinity means you will do it. You can infinitely skip it infinity is just starting. You can enter void for infinity come out the meat grinder is still there. Skip it infinite more times its still there you gotta do it. 10 thousand infinites later the meat grinder still there calling your name.

No escape. The unwillingness/fear is what keeps me crystallized.

Sometimes I can tap into being okay with bad experiences, even further I could even for a second feel a beautiful connection beyond my fear during bad experiences, but soon I get afraid and start hating again.

@VibesThe psychological ones are probably worse than the meat grinder. Meat grinders like 1 - 2 mins at most. Maybe 20 seconds and back to home screen. Psychological will last years and decades. It might seen scarier but its super short insane pain then back with God in peace.

I think about this all the time, it’s the scariest thing.

It is not scary because the self who is scared will be nullified upon death.

It is scary because you imagine yourself surviving and then living through new horrible lives.

Because you're thinking about it.

Realizing Nothingness makes it alright, even if things aren't alright.

Like you said, if the game is too hard or too easy you quit
