Qxh2 was the first thing that popped into mind without even fully examining the board, but for whatever reason it didn't seem right; too deceptively simple perhaps. So I started calculating various positions from Rxg2 until it was apparent that there's too many pieces on that square no matter how you slice it. Went back to the initial idea, and turns out it's a checkmate straight after rook to h3. Funny how intuition works. I knew pinning would have to be involved, but didn't see the most obvious place.

Got it by trying out some things. Didnt come to the conclusion without using the link.

I would probably do knight to g4 at first, threatening immidiate checkmate. White would have to therefore take with the pawn, exposing a path for my rook on the g3 square. After that, I don't know lmao I'd probably loose. Whatever who cares, if you can't immidiatelly win with a briliant move rook sacrifice, the game wasn't all that good anyway

sac your queen then sac your tower for no reason is what its saying is the best move.

There is another very cool queen sca in this game with black's knight to G4, followed by a knight's smothered mate. If only white didn't have a knight at D3. In that case white would lose his queen and the game.

White's king is dangerously smothered by his own pieces. Not a smart position for white.

Seeing the pawn pin was the solution.  Very good puzzle because psychologically we're averse to sacrificing the queen.
