Why waste your time digging through a sea of lies for a nugget of truth.

She offers some deep insights. Why turn your nose on them?

Huh... you don't see the problem either.

Cult leaders, tell me about it. :P

I don't know her work too deeply, but from a few videos I've seen the insights were helpful to me.

@Leo Gura Yeah…. I guess I’m just through the stage where I listened to people like her and infinite waters, and you, and Jordan Peterson and everything else I could get my hands on as I tried to make sense of things.

Your work, though flawed is the best I could find for video teachers. It’s probably the best. I’ve since found many more great teachers as well. I don’t need Swan and her BS.

Now, I have my teachers and things i am focusing on. Have to say no to things.

Waiting for ur next video, but focused on studying Alex Hormozi books and applying to my coaching offer… and investing in my next few certifications….

Personal preference. Maybe you should see if Hulk Hogan offers any deep insights.

As soon as someone lies about being an Alien and a reincarnated Yogi…. Why am I wasting my time?

I did forgive Leo for his turning into an alien thing. But, I knew him long before and yeah.

I am aware of noise to signal ratios and people can make mistakes.

Teal just not someone I resonate with and I question her intellectual integrity. I’m open to changing my mind but not interested right now.

Like, there is a list of bullshitters: Bashar, Infinite Waters, and I think Teal is largely on there too.

Dunno about you guys - but I am more intrigued by people who are multi-faceted or who have large areas of coherence with some MASSIVE cognitive dissonance and crazy. But I use them as case studies to reflect on my own internal mechanisms because we all have self deception to a degree. People like Teal enhance my understanding of humans self-deception capabilities. And more importantly, my own.

For this reason (my own personal curiosity) I am more willing to spend the time discerning good from bad.

For others they do not have a large interest in the area, so are unwilling to invest time doing this. Some also do not have strong value assessment and grounded critical thinking to be able to discern what is true and what is not. If you lack conviction or confidence you may not be as adept at avoiding being deceived. Fact of it is - some people are happier to throw away all - good and bad - when they make a value judgement.

The worst thing Teal does, in my opinion, is professing to be the one to cure you. She knows best - better than psychologists and medically qualified people. She can be your saviour. She has the tools to cure suffering. And she has come out and said these things. This is probably part of the most insidious of her behaviour. The rest appears to me to be personality issues, which we all have to a degree. Unfortunately, it is those most vulnerable and at low points that are more likely to come to her for healing and get caught up in the mess. I do suspect she is a narcissist and this is behind these grand claims.

This is the troubling and potentially dangerous part of her work - that she claims that only she can fix you. And that other methods do not work. I think this has the potential to remove self sovereignty - hence the cult dynamics in her inner circle.

I see the good and the turds in her stuff.

So was Osho, so is Nithyananda etc.

It doesn't mean there's still loads of wisdom there.

This thing where we judge spiritual teachers as soon as they not perfect, is so Christian of us.

Some people are probably turned off by Leo talking about porn etc

And those people sure are missing out on a lot of high level stuff.
