How do you change at the core?

44 posts in this topic

I was laughing out loud, lol. But on a more serious note: eliminate porn addiction and masturbation and you'll have 70% more energy to do things that truly matter to you (assuming you're a guy)

Buddhism says that all suffering comes from desire.

So to answer your question, if you want to change at the core then let go of all your wants and

Also, I would say don't try to change yourself,

Instead, accept yourself fully.

What traits about you now are preventing all those things occuring?

Im not sure. basically my conditioning and identiy as a whole like everyone i would say.
The human mind is very slow and puts up a bunch of friction to make big changes, and they take a long time to get set.

What i am wondering is how i can loosen up my mind to make changes easier, ways to to kindof program my mind to aid in these changes.
Or if there is no such things, just tips for how to grind it out and stay on track.

All true and wise.
But you are not black pilled enough :P

For me to pull this off i first need to get the security and autonomy so that i can sit and meditate all day.

Also its fun, and life would be lame if you could just meditate it all away.

Realistically speaking, all you're going to have is blue balls. But in principle, it is probably better to stimulate yourself to light stuff, such as the images of naked women, rather than watching any videos

Thank you guys, great responses! :)

But to be more specific. How do i change myself, kinda like brainwash myself to become a top performer like an athlete?
That relentlessness, clarity and discipline to get whatever needs to get done. To set your mind to something and execute.
That kind of deal.

It's not so much about brainwashing. It's about action taken in a particular direction.

Act on the preferred energy/motivation - what you want to be more. One step at a time.

Mmm, not really. But it could happen if the diet is full of toxins and there isn't enough exercise for blood circulation.

@Ulax
Yes, chat gpt recommended it too when i prompted it a similar question along with other therapies actually like CBT.

How would you use it?
To look for and sort-of unify parts of yourself that in conflict towards your pursuit?

I know there is other way to get rid of blue balls obviously. I just can't envision any benefits of long term abstaining from this activity. Not only can't envision, but unable to experience, except for utterly needless horniness

Greater than sum of our parts, or no bad parts is a good start

This might be the perfect video for you.
Owen Cook, Mamba Mentality. Wiring it in your nervous system.
Also see: The Alter Ego Effect by Todd Herman. Helped Kobe Byran create the Mamba Mentality.

Lots of it is surrendering to the boring habits. The work. See: Atomic Habits by James Clear.
See role models creating an image of relentlessness like David Goggins, The first 200 videos of Wes Watson, Jocko Willink, etc.

Most of this comes from clarity of life purpose and vision.
Taking Massive Action.
