What's the point of trying to understand reality, if reality is mystical?

Everyone cares about understanding reality to some degree . No human ever didn't ask himself existential questions. It's just that some people unfortunately get brainwashed by society with ready-made answers mostly from religion but also science has become this era's religion. But some people find philosophy pleasurable.

It is that way . I don't believe there is any normal human who doesn't ask himself/herself existential questions..even if they subscribe to a religion . I remember one of my earliest philosophical questions I asked myself was : where did god come from ?

But notice you were open minded to what God could be.  Is there one? And if so where could he come form?

Most humans don't have that gear.  They just want to know what's for breakfast.   The religion just puts the nail in the coffin.  Consider yourself gifted.

That's true . Should decrease in tandem with evolution of society and technology. We've got AI now dude lol. I have no idea how mainstream religion is still alive in this age . But atheism and rationality are slowly replacing religion. Most young guys now in my country are atheists .and I know of course its worse in America lol. Give it couple hundred years and religion will be extinct .we are lucky that we've surpassed religion and rationality and Leo is trying to deconstruct rationality 😂.

How can neurons create consciousness?  Well certainly there has to be a scientific explanation.   But wouldn't that involve more neurons.
