Could Actualized.org be monitored by government agencies?

15 posts in this topic

I know it sounds a little crazy but Goverments especially the US government tend to keep tabs on certain groups, the more radical and violent their ideas the more attention they tend to recieve from agencies.

We are not violent but radical ideas get discussed on this forum. I've often though if it is possible someone from a government agency could be hired to be keeping tabs on conversation on this and other forums of similar nature. Have you guys ever considered it?

I mean, yea- but they’re probably more focused on real national security threats.

On a threat level- what people say / do on this forum is peanuts compared to radical jihadist groups, neo nazis, foreign authoritarian regimes, drug cartels, cyberattacks, market crashes, AI etc.

Leo is probably just some random guy on YouTube to them. (If they even know who he is at all)

I get ya and appreciate your thoughts. Yes, I don't believe actualized.org (if even monitored at all) is considered and threat to any agency, however sometimes when you stumble upon a valuable source of information such as topics being discussed on this forum, goverment takes note, they may not know what to do with it but keep an eye out for things that could be useful for them in their operations.👍

Of course, anything online can be monitored. Like, if a crime that pertains to national security were committed and a forum member was a suspect, they'd probably have an agent or two comb back through that forum member's interactions... and keep tabs on them.

But the idea that there would be government agents randomly keeping active tabs on this forum is highly unlikely. That would only be in the unlikely case that someone on here is a suspect in a crime that threatens national security.

The fact of the matter is that government agencies don't have an infinite amount of resources to pay agents to keep tabs on every random forum that exists on the internet.

And while they might keep tabs on the forums of politically radical groups with many members which might threaten the status quo, they certainly wouldn't alot resources to hiring an agent or two to keep tabs on the Actualized forum because this forum is not a threat to national security.

My reasoning behind the thought is that many ideas that are right up the CIA's, FBI agencies alley are discussed here. Topics such as Psychedelics, PSI phenomena, aliens etc. Also world events are surprisingly well predicted on this forum thanks to all you smarty pants on here! :D Other Goverments such as middle eastern countries could keep tabs on the workings of such forums which they may consider the devil's work or something.

The FBI and NSA are in such dysfunction right now, the Taliban could start a forum and openly plan their next attack.

No I don't think the modern government agencies have the level of consciousness necessary to keep tabs on spiritual people. It would invalidate their current paradigm and belief system so much that it would just cause cognitive dissonance and make no sense.

The us government and CIA have explored and funded metaphysical research in length. The most well known project is Project stargate and remote viewing.

But you see how stuff like that doesn't make military sense because spirituality is not a military concept. As soon as you transcend stage orange using advanced metaphysics to get an edge on your enemies as a concept stops making sense to you and you just now study it from a student of the universe stand of point.

Like do you believe Trump can be shown documents of remote viewing and deeply ponder on the implications of such a concept or would he just call it dumb and focus on bombing Venezuela and Yemen as that makes a lot more sense from a materialistic standpoint?

Spending funds on surveilling a new age forum makes no sense from a military strategy standpoint it would make you labeled a nutcase. Although it would be a good idea perhaps but at that point you're not really in the military business anymore.

Good points. I've been thinking along these lines too. However what is considered a threat can be a very nuanced thing. Theese govermental agencies tend to hire the best people in the world to work on their programs. Not all of them will be stage orange capitalists. There will be extremly open individuals too whose job is to mind out for any stange orange bias in the departments when doing threat assessments. This is why I believe there may be a chance such forums may be being kept an eye on. These agencies are mostly stage orange and below but they are not dumb.

I mean sure especially AI companies are scraping the whole internet right now but I doubt we would stand out compared to radical either far right or far left activists.
