No, light is just another side of the same coin. Emptyness is the passive masculine principle of existence. Light is the manifest active feminine principle of existence. Both are equal. Two sides of the same coin. Eternal dance between yin and yang.

You can't have a coin with just one side. There would be no silence without the sound. Sound creates the silence and vice versa. They are inseparable dimensions of existence.

In the beggining there was darkness and then a coin appeared. How? You can have silence without sound. you cant have sound without silence. 

You are doing duality when its non duality. Its just 1 dark silent thing.

Existence is a coin and it has two sides, the masculine and the feminine. Darkness and light. Two sides of the same thing.

Its non dual. That means 1 sided. The other side is a fantasy. You are alone and want to make up that there is a duality on extreme levels. Look at the duality this is 1 cm of the length of the entire universe of cope.

@Salvijus only when it gets lonely and let's itself gaslight itself that there's another side. The truth is there isn't. We are talking about eternally alone. Cant stop it. There's an entire universe of cope you can see from your window.

I guess you can say its a duality if you take gods cope as the other part of a the duality. The Shakti is gods cope. And its an eternal part but not of light of darkness.

Just call it energy. Energy in a form of stillness is emptyness. Energy is a form of action is love. It's the same energy. One eternal energy doing various things. Like Einstein said: Nothing can be created or destructed, it can only change forms.

Why does it change forms? Because it can't handle being one way forever. Its too long. It dosent end.

Being this or that is false self, or Ego, Ego can arise in any endeavour, but You would that someone that comes across the Spiritual paths and find it interesting would be less likely to engage in Egoic behaviour, but the Ego is clever and does not want to lose control or die easily, so be weary..

The New Age crap is guilty of this, they sell crystals, were beads and funny clothing to "Look" spiritual, but as said before their behavior does not reflect it, I do believe that if one is truly on the path then for sure it will reflect in their behaviour and such!!! 

Spirituality is only about how to experience the non physical aspect of what You Are, if You are not the Body or Mind, then that implies what You are is non physical in nature!
