In a few years, devs will be too lazy to make games.

No. AI cannot create games.

Those games AI creates will only be worth playing by other AI.

Still, its open world doesn't feel as alive and organic as RD. Although I hear it is more dense, which makes sense given the different settings.

After finishing cyberpunk I might try RD, I was thinking about buying a ps5 just to play gta 6 but I'm not going to reward such a piece of shit company. I'm just going to wait for pc release and rip it to see if it is worth it and then buy it if it is good.

Sounds good to me. The PC port may be released around 2028, though. Patience. :D

It's hard not to love the game, but it does start off a bit slow.

Oh, Arthur.

@Leo Gura What about Bloodborne? Where would you rank it?

I haven't played it, to be clear.

I didn't like it.

The combat is too fast paced, with no blocking, and all the RPG elements and loot has been stripped down.

I literally used the same weapon and armor for most of the game because there is nothing better than starting gear. There are no meaningful stat upgrades.

I was really disappointed. It felt like a cheap version of Dark Souls.

The world and enemies are cool though. Just the combat is not nearly as good as Dark Souls. It would have been so much better if it followed the Dark Souls recipe.

I feel Bloodborne is overrated. I know some people love it. But that is for its world.

IMO the problem with realism in games is that once you are an adult you can just go and live life.

GTA/RDR was fun when I was 12-17. After getting my driver's license and a car, I could have more freedom. Same again at 18. GTA 5 was great but not as immersive as RDR1 and combat/driving were not as fun as GTA 4. After turning 18, I had no interest in GTA type games, because I had the freedom to fully immerse myself in adult life.

On a side note... A beloved game from my childhood was Voodoo Vince.. an early Xbox exclusive with fascinating locations and gameplay mechanics with a bohemian/tarot/voodoo/thriller/jazz/comedy elements... Hard to describe but plenty of YT videos around. Amazing soundtrack too.

Bloodborne was the first Souls game I ever played, and it holds a special place for me. I never enjoyed the Dark Souls games as much as I did Bloodborne—it's just so unique.

Has anyone played Beyond Good & Evil? It’s from the same designer as Rayman.

Bloodborne has crazy combat. Just pure aggression, ducking and weaving.

You have to go out of your way a bit to use different weapons than the one you start with, but that is true of all souls-game to varying degrees. If you want to use a different weapon you always have to level it up to parity or you won't do any damage once your well into the game.

I see.

Elden Ring was the first Souls-like I ever played, and I loved it. I'm not that picky about the open world.

At some point I'll give Dark Souls a try and see what all the fuss is about.
