My spiritual journey is super difficult. Am I alone on this?

I know I'm not but it just feels like it, everyone seems ok but me :(:(

Yes. The path has been storms, fire, and tsunamis~~~tearing down walls I once thought kept me safe. What feels like loss is really the mask burning away. And it doesn’t burn just once. No, it burns over and over and over again. Each time it strips away fear, each collapse reshaping me into something truer than I’ve ever been.

I choose to go deeper, because I love discovering myself at ever deeper layers. This is not “normal.” And every sane person think I am unwell. Oh well. No more giving my authority to ableist fear-mongering control freaks.

Pretending to be anything less than Good only keeps me asleep.

I constantly get my butt whooped in conscious ways, and that leads me to higher forms of understanding, love, and connection towards myself as God.

Good God, what a time to be alive :)

Mega hard. Very very challenging. The start of my journey was 8 years straight of incredible and immense pain. Luckily I always had a connection to god, I intend on going forward. I expect more pain, but the strength you get is unbelievable. Not just strength either, knowledge, insight, wisdom love and other stuff. I am so happy right now. I've recently had the most massive breakthrough of my entire life. Sober, life breakthrough not psychedelic. But have to be careful your not actually doing yourself damage with the likes of psychedelics. I use the analogy of weight lifting. You expect the pain but you want to intuitively distinguish between the pain of healthily breaking down muscle cells and the pain of tearing the muscle. Stronger people can take more. Don't bite off more than you can chew brother

For me: Sometimes super fucking hard. Feels like it will never change, just sucks.

So you're not alone.

I spare you all the "it's only temporary things will pass stuff what doesn't kill you makes you stronger etc etc stuff "

Struggle, loneliness, and feeling stuck - in one form or another - are part of the human condition, or at least constitute a virtually universal background experience for us humans.

Notice that no one truly "has it easy" in life. Why is that? Even though it may seem that some people act in a more graceful or "effortless" manner, take a closer look at their underlying experience of life. Even when someone is effortless at a particular field or activity, this is often accompanied by tons of effort and correction.

Most importantly, as a particular self-character, this form will inevitably confront events and circumstances that are inconsistent with its self-agenda. At the risk of oversimplifying, this is essentially what struggle is. Being and having a self is what creates struggle in the first place. And interestingly, we can observe how much we actually want it! In many ways, we are both driven toward and attracted by this dynamic. It is not a random occurrence.

Add to that the fact that this kind of spiritual work forces us to notice this dynamic, instead of resist it or ignore it.

We could create an axiom now: to the extent that one lets go of the self (or a particular aspect of the self), struggle will subside. By not identifying with or latching onto something extraneous, this contraction naturally subsides in that particular area.

Hope that helps in some way.

Why not just say "yes me too"? :D

I'm saying struggle is a deeper dynamic, not limited to spirituality, and of course, I'm not exempt from that.

But yeah, I do like to show off every now and then - not just shitpost. :D

You absolutely are not alone on this. Life is not an easy school. I’m curious, why do you believe you’re alone on this? You think only your path has challenges? Why? From what I’ve observed is that life is rich and complex with many chapters, some chapters can be very hard. Life is uncertain, we never know how it will unfold. The more you grow and engage with life the more it demands from you. You want something, you can get it, but however great it is usually gonna come with you shedding a lot of limiting beliefs and reparenting yourself in the process. That isn’t always easy and I believe it’s fair to say there’s a degree of maturity we develop as we live our lives and learn to be that solid foundation of truth. I think it’s important to remember we all are here, living in the unknown. We truly don’t know anything and we are trying our best, can you love yourself through this? Just be honest with and love yourself. Picture that part of you that is afraid or feels bad as a child and love it. You don’t even have to be perfect with it or focus on the outside. Just be open to trusting the unfolding of life.
