Typical problem with the Stage Orange self-help slop industry.

I used to consume his content back then when he was starting his con, and it didn't even cross my mind that he was a fraud.

Although his live meditation series has helped me.

Eventually, I moved on because his content started to become shallow for me.

It seems that a lot of succesful people (Shetty, Sadia Khan...) have a lot of skeletons in their closet.

Still, Shetty has a lot of GREAT content in his podcast.

Is useful to sometimes separate the character from the content itself, and learn what we find valuable.

He doesn't have anything of value to say, I have went through like 1/3rd of his book, and that's too much, I was too open-minded back then, should have trashed it after a few paragraphs. So shallow, all his content is marketing for other content, never delivers anything of value.

That video didn’t really explain much. Not that I’m a fan of Jay Shetty… but the critic sort of had a stage orange bias calling those who use spiritual or new age principles “word salad.” 
 

I’ve never read Jay Shetty. But if the guy is speaking from his heart, and is giving relatively solid advice (which seems so from the summary here), then it can catch someone at the right time and provide a positive benefit to their lives. Obviously the guy is having some sort of positive impact on people. 
 

I’m just playing devil’s advocate here. The critic dude in the video sort of seemed like a stage orange hard-ass.

He is, he had a similar take on eckhart tolle .... but Shetty comes across as very fake to me and there is evidence that hes exaggerated if not fabricated his back story
